Like @weewittlewizabeth Disney was my life obsession, mostly The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella.  Going to Disney has been a lifelong dream, I've never been because I grew up poor.  However, it's my life goal to get my daughter there I just want to wait until she's old enough to appreciate it, so maybe in about 2 years.

Hopefully, I can come to all of you to plan it for me, because you gals seem to be experts on getting good deals

@Dignity100 the prices for the Deluxe resorts are crazy! If we go that route, we'll probably rent from a timeshare holder at one of their DVC properties. If we book directly through Disney or a travel agent, I'm thinking we'll do a Moderate resort like the Port Orleans. Those two particular resorts seem to be really popular and close to a lot of good stuff. Can't wait to hear how your wedding trip goes  

@BreMR Awww I can only imagine how great a trip with your daughter will be. I love seeing videos of kids going for the first time. It's so sweet.

@weewittlewizabeth - When I first went, I did A LOT of research on resorts.  There are going to be kids at ALL of the resorts, but the Value seem to be the loudest (from my research).  I've never stayed at a value because of it (it's not 'beneath' me, I've just always saved so I could stay in the moderate - in 2015 when we go, we'll be in value resorts).  Have you been to Disney before? 

@BreMR - Aw, I hope you get to take her!!  If you don't have the Disney credit card, you could look into getting that, it gives you certain perks (like 6 months to pay off the balance of a Disney Vacation at 0% apr) - the rewards aren't the best $1 for every $100 you spend, but it still adds up.  I was hoping my one friend would bring her daughter to Disney (she's 3) for our wedding - I was even going to pay to take her daughter to bibbity-bobbity-boutique, but she wants alone time with her BF.
