Chardonnay. And briefing cases at the same time. I keep writing FI for false imprisonment but I keep reading it as "FI" for fiance. I probably shouldn't try to do both of these things at once.

    Also, happy early birthday @lyndausvi!

    Thanks for the birthday wish.

Isn't funny how we do the bolded? I will catch myself writing DH or something on FB. I've may have refer to DH has DH instead of his name before.   ::blushes::
Uh, once when I was talking to my boss I said "STD" with reference to her save-the-dates, and she OBVIOUSLY does not frequent the E board, so she looked at me with the biggest eyes ever and I had to explain how STD meant save-the-date and it was really awkward lol
I did the really immature giggle (and sometimes still do) the first time visiting TK at the abbreviation for STD.

And yesterday was the first time I almost said "FI" out loud.
    I've done that. It's awkward.

I've just barely caught myself doing that quite a few times. No asshole, "Fee" is not a person you know, let alone are engaged to.

It doesn't help that "Foo" is legitimately my nickname for my sister that I use all the time. "Fee" would just think that he'd been next on the list to receive the nickname, but with his own unique vowel!
Will you also have Fie and Fum?

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

Well, see now I'm confused.  I was told
yesterday that Lord Rahaj would bring my ex back!  Are they rivals?  Is one's dark magic more effective than the other's?  Are they business partners, perhaps?  Maybe we should summon both of them and harness both of their amazing skills to bring back all of our exes!

First off, excellent JonTron avatar. Dishwasher, yes.

My favorite thing that young Wiggy said, was that she is not religious but God this, God that, God the other thing. God all day erryday, God everywhere. I don't know if she is a big church-attendee or not, but to me, GOD ALL THE TIME GOD EVERYTHING GOD GOD GOD = religious. I'm probably using the wrong word. I don't know. I just thought that was interesting.

  • Have we yet proven the point that when you try and tell adults what to do they will instinctively do that EXACT said thing in spite :)

'Close' a thread, we keep on going!
tell adults not to drink, guess what they'll do?  Lose control of their bodily functions.

Who knows. I may have to follow through with that nickname trend to save face once I do accidentally say "Fee" aloud. It'll probably happen one day when I've been drinking.

And I'll need to name a kid Jack, I suppose.

Is this thread still not closed yet?
Well now I really feel like a tool, because I've been pronouncing FI as "eff eye" in my head.

  • I've been offline the past 2 days...I have been keeping up this thread the first day...

All I want to know is this:
Is there anything worth sifting through 14 pages or is it only going to make me want to drink more than a houseguest trapped  at a dry wedding all weekend long???

If she went through with the insanity of getting married at 17...her wedding date just occurred...

I think most of us started drinking somewhere around page 9 or 10, so yes, the bolded pretty much sums it up. I'm not much of a drinker, honestly, but by the time the mystical Lord Rahaj started spamming the board (page 12?) I was snockered.

You'll see a lot of perfectly reasonable solutions get completely ignored. Just another day at TK.

That is just so ridiculous.  I mean it gives me all kind of glee to read, but the girl herself...  I wonder if she'll pop back up telling us how amazing her wedding was.

I've often wondered if she was just inventing the whole damned "wedding" in a teenage fantasy. I mean, honestly.
If she was truly engaged and planning a wedding, why introduce yourself on the "Not Engaged Yet" board. And her insistance that her parents and "everybody" were 100% supportive of the idea, and the whole wedding plan of who was going to be what bridesmaid and what usher and cousin playing the piano blah blah. It just sounded like so much teenage girl lame-ass daydreaming to me.
  • Hey ya'll, I just got a really good ultrasound back for my little peep.  Can I count on you all to take on the celebratory drinking? Cuz toasting with grape juice is dumb :P.

    Margaritas!!! Cheers!

Drinking a light beer to you! Spoiler alert: It is unsatisfying. Damn you wedding diet.

At this point I'm willing to believe that she even made up her SO.  Maybe she just had a crush on some guy and she's a super crazy person, who wanted to feel like she was actually planning the wedding of her dreams to her unreal SO.

Maybe OP of this post and the young bride on the other thread are really sisters, and they just can't deal with the actual reality around them.

Judging by my headache this morning, I definitely took care of this.
