Etsy Bridesmaids Dresses: Where do you shop?

Hello!  I am having a difficult time finding bridesmaids dress (that don't look too bridesmaidsy, if you know what I mean)  Of course, I picked colors that are entirely too hard to find and it is took late to back out of the color now because I have half of my decorations and things purchased.  So anyways, I am finding the best luck at finding what I am looking for ( mint green dresses, not sage or pistachio or teal…mint)  on Etsy.  I am wondering, of you wonderful brides out there, if any of you have bought dresses from Etsy, and if you have any shop recommendations.  Or if you have ones to warn me about that would be greatly appreciated!

Most of what I am finding on Etsy are the Chinese knock offs that everyone warns you about.  I want a simple dress for ME for my wedding and was checking into them.

Be very very careful with this. I would be hesitant to buy from any Etsy designer who doesn't have a brick and mortar location or is based out of China. 

Are your bridesmaids cool with buying dresses they haven't tried on?

ETA: Mint is one of those completely subjective colors (and none of them are the color of actual mint the plant - oh well). But have you looked at storms like Nordstrom? They have tons of options. http://shop.nordstrom.com/c/mint-bridesmaid-dresses

I would be VERY cautious about ordering dresses off Etsy shops.

Be sure you have discussed budget with each of your BMs.

If you have so much trouble finding mint, choose another color.  Things don't have to all be matchy-matchy.  You could easily do a complimenting color with a mint accent (sash?)

I saw a cute mint dress on modcloth. In doing mint too but my girls are wearing skirts so I can't be of much assistance with dresses. Lots of mint shoes out there though. Good luck!

My friend wanted us to wear mint for her September wedding. She asked us all to just buy any dresses in mint. Well it is really hard to actually make sure it is "mint". We all eventually found one but they are varying shades, which will end up looking quite nice. 

Target has a BM line that has mint. Check modcloth. Nordstrom. Lulu's.

I was originally doing a ivory mix and match wedding.  We bought all of the dresses from modcloth and were going to turn my house into a boutique and try them on ( all of my bridesmaids are the same size and figure so that made things super easy, and they picked the ones they liked online)  I was planning on myself wearing a plan but dramatic fit and flare or mermaid.  Unfortunately, with dress that I picked  (only one that gave me chills and a special teary moment) is anything but plain and simple.  So we returned all of the cute girlie dresses ( which none of the girls paid for or saw in person yet so it wasn't a big deal) and now we are back to square one.  And I figured I would start looking at mint  dresses.  Though, as PDKH said, mint varies.  But I am being flexible with it, I just don't want green.  More of that soft blue green mint.  

I looked at Nordstrums and they are crazy out of budget for what I am looking for, because I do want to keep the cost low for my girls (why I picked mod cloth to begin with.)  I still have a decent amount of time to hunt something down but all of the help is well appreciated so I don't go nuts.

I didn't order from them but another one of the BM's did. The dress she ordered just didn't fit her right so she had to return it. She said the shipping to her was free and so was return shipping. They made it really easy for her.
