Need opinions

I think I've found my dress. I have one more appointment tomorrow but I can't get this one out of my head. I'm just wondering what some of you lovely ladies would do with the jacket it comes with. Wear it? Not wear it? Wear it for the ceremony then lose it? I'll put some pictures to show you what I'm talking about. I unfortunately was not able to try on the jacket so who knows... I might not even like it. Just looking for opinions Thanks!

P.S. I should mention it's an outdoors May wedding.

I like it with the jacket for the ceremony & then ditch it for a few pictures & then the reception. But the great thing is, if you feel too hot with the jacket on, or it's itchy, it looks great without it too.

Personally I'm not a fan of jackets, and this is no exception.  but thats just my preference of course!

Pretty dress!

Bummer you can't try on the jacket. When you revisit the dress, can you ask if the salon as other short sleeve/sleeveless boleros for you just to get an idea?

That said, the dress certainly doesn't need the jacket, so I think it would mostly come down to personal preference. You can always throw it on for just a few pictures.

It's a lovely dress.  If you don't like the jacket, you can always see if you can sell it on a preowned wedding site.

I probably wouldn't wear it, except maybe for the ceremony if it was in a church or something.

Thank you everyone! I love this dress. I went this weekend and found a couple other dresses I like.. but I think this is still my favorite. My groom is pretty old fashioned. I'm thinking it might make him happy if I wear it for the ceremony then ditch it! I'll have to see once I can try one on with it.

I love the dress..and the jacket! If you don't use it, sell it online. It is hard to find a pretty jacket.

I think you should wear it for the ceremony and lose it for the reception. It doesn't make the dress but I think it's pretty.

Being outside in May, you could always wait and let the weather help you decide. Warm and sunny for the ceremony? Ditch it. Crisp and breezy? Wear it.
