Originally this post had two exclamation points, but I went back and changed it because it just needed more.

 

Today, I will work a few hours, then I will drive to @tuarceatha's house! Tomorrow, us and our DHs will drive down to the Outer Banks to our beach house for a glorious week of tanning, laughing, game playing, eating, drinking and fun.

I'm hoping to get a trip to the doctor's office in before we leave. I've been dealing with some neck pain/headaches for almost two weeks now. I've been to the chiropractor three times with no improvement.

1 - What are you up to this weekend? 

Nothing much. Tonight going to happy hour with a CW and her sister. Tomorrow bringing kittens to the vet for their boosters, then head over to Hobby Lobby to buy some yarn. Get home, color my hair, bring Quigley to the groomers and while he's getting groomed get my hair cut (FINALLY). Sunday FI and I are going to finish up table numbers. Monday I plan on doing NOTHING.

2 - On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you wish you were me right now? 

I'm going to say 7 because I want to go on vacation with @tuarceatha BUT I hate going to the doctor. Sending lots of vibes your way!

Armpit hair, you can easily disguise that.

1 - What are you up to this weekend?

Tonight - Hopefully relaxing; Sat - I have some errands to run (Target, post office, etc); Sun - Ikea trip planned!!!!!  It's a 2 1/2 hour drive though, so that part stinks big time!; Mon - Relax some more, maybe clean up the house.

2 - On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you wish you were me right now?

How clean is your house?  Without knowing that, I'll say 8.  My house is a disaster!!

3 - If you had to pick a new first name, what would it be?  When I was little I wanted a more 'common' name like Colleen.  Then when I got into my teen years, I liked my name as it was somewhat unique.  Now every other little girl seems to have my name and spells it 500 different ways (adding unnecessary letters).  So Now - I will just keep my name.

4 - If you had to either grow your armpit hair or your leg hair, which would you grow?  Armpit - but my pits itch just thinking about it!!!

5 - If you had to live somewhere where it was 110* every day, or 10* every day, which would you choose? 10*; I am not a fan of the heat!!

Tonight H and I are making Tacos and having a movie night. Tomorrow we are going to a birthday party for my friend's H who is turning 30. I plan on making Southwestern Egg rolls and drinking a whole lot. I'm also bringing CAH in case it rains.

Sunday is my dad's bday celebration and we are going to the lake. Afterwards we are hitting up Steak n Shake (my dad's favorite restaurant lol). Monday is going to just be a chill day and we may just relax. It's supposed to rain that day so I may do some cleaning.

2 - On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you wish you were me right now?

8 because you are having a really fun weekend but you have neck pains and headaches and that doesn't sound good.

I really like my middle name, Marie, so i wouldn't mind changing to that.

haha my armpit hair I guess since it doesn't grow fast anyways

My house is basically spotless since the house cleaner came on Monday and the dogs are at boarding school

you know I think you're just awesome, but I have to say that I don't wish I were you!  although, after I read the part about the house cleaner and no pups, I did entertain the thought!!

something NOT common.  I hated having to be called by my first name and last initial... plus, everyone spells my name incorrectly!  H and I know we want to call our daughter Kennedy, and I would love to steal that name!

I guess armpit hair...  gross!

also, I have major sads today.  my H came home last night while I was teaching music lessons, and he had talked to my dad.  my aunt (dad's sister) choked to death yesterday.  her H came home and she was dead on the floor of the house.  H told me (he really should have waited and he apologized for that later), and I had to hold it together for two more lessons.  we went to Target and walked around for a while, I ate a corn dog (50c corn dogs at Sonic day), and then took a bath and cried.

we lost my grandparents 2 years ago, and my dad's brother almost died last year of heart failure.  it is so, so sad.    I don't know what to say to my dad, because he is so upset.  I'm not good at this kind of thing at all.

1) My weekend is already of to a shaky start. I woke up late and crying and continued to cry and shake in the shower. 

Yesterday, the conclusion to the 'official investigation' of my boss (he yelled at me for crying my first day back to work) is that nothing is happening to him. He did not, and will not, apologize. I, however, am being forced to go to a counseling session to evaluate my current state. It's that or lose my job. Mind you, it was my one and only breakdown at work. I have since been 'back to normal' whatever that is, and haven't missed a beat at work. So the tyrant continues to reign. 

One of my brothers and and one of my sisters are coming over tonight to spend the weekend cleaning out the house. A lot of control is being taken away from me in terms of what we keep, what we toss. My brother came up with a plan that involves two teams and some complicated system. He said I will have to "trust the teams" to keep the important stuff. This is beyond hard for me. I'm terrified that something that I treasure of mom's will get tossed because it doesn't hold the same meaning to my siblings.    

I don't really have answers for the other questions.

I'm going to do a dinner with my SO's family and I'm taking off next week, but I don't have too much planned, just relaxing.

2 - On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you wish you were me right now? 

I think a 7. I'm taking off next week, so I'm not jealous about that, but I am super jealous that you are going to the beach.

3 - If you had to pick a new first name, what would it be?

I love my name and couldn't imagine being named something else, but if I had to choose a new name, I like Emily. Emily, however, does not flow with my last name. Andplusalso, the story behind my actual name is pretty funny.

4 - If you had to either grow your armpit hair or your leg hair, which would you grow?

Leg hair. I have super fine soft blondish leg hair, so it's not that noticeable.

5 - If you had to live somewhere where it was 110* every day, or 10* every day, which would you choose?

10* everyday. I can totally put on more clothes, but I can only take so many off. Also I have a hard time (physically) in really hot weather.

p.s. I think "under arms" sounds so much nicer than arm pits. I've tried to train myself to say that instead I prefer it that much. Makes them sound prettier. Me thinks.

1 - What are you up to this weekend? FI and I are going to see Arcade Fire tonight, wedding tomorrow, church and possibly looking at a couple houses on Sunday, NOTHING on Monday.

This is the wedding where I was "and Guest"-ed on the invite. This was after the couple had met me, we were engaged AND the groom's father works for my FI's family business. I wrote out my full name on the RSVP card, and I'm interested to see if my name makes it onto the seating chart/escort cards/whatever they're doing. To be fair, the bride didn't register and had an awful "give us money" poem on her shower invites, so the name thing may be the least of my worries...

2 - On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you wish you were me right now? Mmmm about a 7 I guess. I want another week off and would love to be at the beach, BUT neck pain.

3 - If you had to pick a new first name, what would it be? I've always liked the name Jordan.

4 - If you had to either grow your armpit hair or your leg hair, which would you grow? I guess armpit hair...it can be covered up, and legs just start looking like sasquatch.

Buzzkill here. Not doing questions right now. It's my last day at my old job. For the most part, this place has actually been pretty darn good for 6+ years and I am bummed to be leaving. Change is usually a good thing, but that doesn't make it easy.

They had cake for me yesterday! Marble with custard filling from the local grocery store, but still. It was nice of them to do that.

@cu97tiger I hope your neck pain/headaches go away soon. Sometimes I suffer from those and they are awful. Plus these are probably super awful because you are going on vacation. No one wants to deal with that on vacation.

Today I am picking up my dress from alterations!!! Then I have an interview We're going to the movies to see As Above, So Below also.  We don't have any plans for the rest of the weekend which is nice.  We'll actually get to relax before all the craziness of next week!

Normally, this number would be higher. No offense, but I wouldn't want to be anyone else right now. I have such an awesome 2 weeks coming up! Its good to be Sev right now

I would say leg hair...I don't show my legs often so I could hide it easier. I wear a lot of tank tops so my armpit hair would get in my way.

Tomorrow I am meeting with one of my BMs so she can pick up her dress and then we are having a lady date! Pumpkin Spice Lattes and shoe shopping yay!!! I really love my first name even though it's ridiculously common. There would seriously be at least 2 or 3 other girls in my classes in school who shared my name. However, I think I'd go with my middle name - Michelle - if I had to choose a new one.

Armpits for sure...I can't stand it when my legs get hairy.

1 - What are you up to this weekend? Family birthday dinner tonight, hair cut tomorrow morning, and dinner with friends on Sunday evening. In between, cleaning the apartment, addressing invitations, and doing some general wedding planning.

2 - On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you wish you were me right now? Probably an 8 because you're awesome and have your life together much better than I do, but I'm not sure I want that neck pain :-p

3 - If you had to pick a new first name, what would it be? Simone. I enjoy having a less-common first name, but I like my initials.

4 - If you had to either grow your armpit hair or your leg hair, which would you grow? Ahaha trick question--I shave maybe once a month or once every two months, so I'm constantly growing both out. But I guess I let my leg hair grow out much more before I shave.

5 - If you had to live somewhere where it was 110* every day, or 10* every day, which would you choose? Definitely 10° (F or C). You can always put on more clothes when you get cold, and also I love hot chocolate and soup and warm nights in front of the fire.

1 - What are you up to this weekend?

Going out of town to visit BF for a week and check in on some applications I have in up there. School is starting back up, so I will be able to visit my sorority sisters now while I am up there, which I'm looking forward to. Of course, I choose the weekend that everyone is moving back in, so traffic closer to that area is going to suck today.

2 - On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you wish you were me right now?

About a 5? I am jealous that you get to go to the Outer Banks, but I don't want the neck pain!

I'm fond of the name Penelope.

Armpit. I hate, hate, hate leg hair, especially if my legs touch while stubbly.
