Morning ladies and happy Friday! 

My mom is driving up later today and going to look at houses with H and me. We're going to show her the blue house that we love and I'm hoping to see a couple other houses as well. Our realtor is a friend of @GoldenPenguin and I'm really excited to finally meet her! 

My mom's staying over and I'm going to take her to breakfast at my favorite local diner and then we're going to my aunt's house for the day. H will pick me up there when he gets off work. 

SUNDAY IS FOOTBALL!!!!!! I am SO pumped for the season to start. I'll be leaving my house at 11:30am and getting to the bar at noon for the Eagles game. I go to the same bar every Sunday throughout the season so I'm excited to get back there and see everyone. Go birds!

Tonight H is leaving for SC to go to a bachelor party so I'm home alone again tonight. This afternoon I need to go run some errands and get some things for next weekend for @LaPeanut1018 's bachelorette party!

Tomorrow morning I'm going to CrossFit and then heading over to the cleaners to get my BM's dress altered a bit. It's a little long and I want to make it strapless so it should be an easy fix. Afterwards we are going shopping for my mom's MOB dress and going to lunch. That night I might just hang out with my family since H will still be OOT and I won't have much else going on.

Sunday H will be coming home and if the day is nice I might take Maddux to the park to go for a long walk. I feel like we have been cooped up in the house all week because of the rain so I want to get him outside and burn off some energy.

ETA: HOW COULD I FORGET!!! Falcons football starts SUNDAY!!! RISE UP!!!

@southernpeach89, I can't believe @LaPeanut1018's bachorlette party is next weekend...  I know y'all will have a great time!

I am SO GLAD it's Friday.  this is how I feel:

today I'm off at 2.  it's supposed to be rainy this weekend and cool...  YES!!!  a high in the 70s tomorrow, and then next weekend we'll have another front with highs starting to get into the 60s.  this is BIG NEWS in my part of the country!!

I'm going to pick up some things at alterations this afternoon and JUST IN TIME.  I had to get a jacket taken in (@Swazzle, it's the green jacket from Old Navy, I tried it on again and this time an XS fit my arms, just had to bring the cuffs up, so FYI in case you were still looking at it) and I totally plan on wearing the heck out of it this fall.  we're going to do our weekly grocery shop (it's actually fun, we love Sprouts) and have dinner at our favorite Mexican place on campus and then coffee and dessert at our favorite bakery.  I think I'm going to get a hot drink tonight instead of my summer iced latte.  FALL is coming!

Saturday is my first PMP class, so we'll get up early for that.  H is going to drop me off at class and then go to the farmer's market to get a few things.  I think he'll also go to the gym at his work (it's not far from my class) and work out.  he plans on going with me most weeks, so he can go work out and do whatever.  I am so glad, I like being chauffeured!

football season started here a week or two ago, but in this area it's all about college football.  my mom and grandma are huge fans, so we have to plan family events around the OU game schedule.  I like football season but I don't necessarily like football...

Today I go for my first dress fitting!!!  After that one of my friends gets off her work at 1, so we're going to hang out.

Tomorrow, FI and FBIL are going to pick up their suits - they came in.  We're just hoping they were ordered correctly.

Tonight FI and I have gaming. It'll be a good chance for me to actually get some knitting done.

Tomorrow I have no idea what I'm doing. There's a lot of stuff that needs to happen around the house, I have to be knitting for the craft show, and I have homework for my rocket propulsion class. Probably some combination of the three.

@CocoBellaF - I hope your first class goes well! I'm still waiting to hear if my work is going to pay for my next PMP class...classes start next week so I really need to know if I can register.

Today's it's all overcast and crazy humid here and we're supposed to get thunderstorms later. I have a lovely day of email email email lined up...wooooooooooooooooooo.

In addition to work email, I will continue to obsessively refresh my personal email, because we STILL don't have our engagement pictures! I'm starting to get really annoyed. Based on a message from the photographer it sounded like they were uploading through the day yesterday...but then he found out that he didn't start doing that until last night, so who knows when they'll actually be available. This is the first bump that we've had with him, and I'm really disappointed. I think it's a bit ridiculous that we waited patiently for these, we didn't complain when he said it would take longer than usual because he was so booked up, and he's still waited until the very last minute to deal with making them available for us. Blah.

Have a nice weekend lined up though: FI and I are going to a wedding show this evening, and then we have tickets for a Leafs pre-season fan thing tomorrow. FI is super excited that hockey season is starting soon, he's very cute.

Conveniently, our photograph has a booth at the wedding show tonight...if we don't get our pictures today at least I know where to find him!

Morning, ladies.  I didn't realize all of you were such big football fans!  I watched the game yesterday through half time but got upset that the Packers were doing poorly so I went to bed early.

@swazzle, have fun at the bar! I feel like half the reason I gave up on the game yesterday was lack of wine....sad, I know.

@CocoBellaF - I'm like you, I like football season but don't watch the games that close.

@Southernpeach89 - What do you guys have planned for @LaPeanut1018 b-party?  Just kidding, I'm guessing you can't tell.

Today I'm working...busy day. Tonight H and I will watch some X-Files and a few other shows (we are getting back into watching the X-Files...which I love since Mulder reminds me so much of H).

Saturday H and I are shopping for the house and otherwise taking it easy.  We gave up on doing our wood floors (they were turning out bad because of the stupid Home Depot equipment...it really isn't good to do your floors as many flooring people have now told us).  Floor guy will come on Wednesday to start the job and *fingers crossed* H and I will be moved in in a few weeks!!!!

Sunday will be football watching for H and my mom.  I'll probably cook and get a long walk in. 

Going to be a nice weekend.

@minskat30 - I just tell y'all the gist of what we are doing but I won't go into detail...I'll wait until afterwards for that lol.

We are starting off early and going to a Sip n Strokes class where you paint pretty pictures and drink wine or beer. Then we are having a limo pick us up from there and taking us to our hotel in Buckhead, GA where we will get ready, drink, eat snacks, and more surprises for Lauren. Then the limo will take us to dinner at Southern Art which apparently has amazing food and turns into a bar at night. After dinner we will check out a few different bars around the area and head back to the hotel to crash.

In the morning we will do brunch and head home. Everyone is welcome to crash!

I just got  a call from the vet, our cat had a high glucose level so they want to do additional tests it might be diabetes.  Tonight we don't have anything exciting planned, we're making pizza for dinner and will probably just relax, maybe play some video games.

We have no plans for the weekend, the flooring was supposed to be here and H was going to do that but it's not here yet.  So we may just relax do a few small things around the house and clean. We may also go down by H's parents house down the shore, it's pirates day this weekend. No real plans on Sunday, relax, watch some football.  I have to be at the theater Sunday night, since the show I'm co-producing opens next Friday.  I'd rather not, but oh well.  I'm looking forward to getting more sleep too.

Happy freaking Friday! I think it's a really good thing that I woke up thinking it was Thursday. Totally a pleasant surprise when my body finally caught on to the fact that it was indeed Friday.

Things have been SO busy in our lives with school, soccer, church, and the wedding. I'm really looking forward to knocking that last one off my to-do list soon! I'm not sure what we're doing tonight, but tomorrow my older DD has her first soccer game. I'm really annoyed that it's at 1:30pm. It's so dang hot for those girls!

Later in the day I have a photo shoot with a wrestler, so that should be fun. And at night we're watching the Michigan v Notre Dame game. FI's BFF is a HUGE ND fan, and FI is a HUGE Michigan fan, so it is actually pretty fun. 

And at some point I need to buy shoes that actually go with my dress. We have church on Sunday and then FOOTBALL! Both of our teams play at 1 so we're probably going to go to a bar to watch them. Before you know it, it will be Monday and the week of the wedding!

I love all the weddings that are coming up! I can't wait to hear all about them and see everyone AW all the pics.

We're not big on sports... FI couldn't care less, and a lot of our friends aren't sports fans either. I like college football (more specifically U of Texas football), but our only friends who actively watch sports are big Texas A&M fans, which is one of my team's rivals lol. I really miss being on campus this time of year. Game days were so much fun!

This may end up being a post and run... work will be crazy today. I think I mentioned this previously, but there were two people in the company who were involved with my old job-- the actual person who did the job and the manager of that department. Well, both left the company on Friday (purely coincidental that both left on the same day. One was quite sudden, one was not). Anywho, while my company figures out if/how they'll restructure the department and the position itself and then hire new staff, I've been asked to help out with my old position. They mainly want my input on the more overarching stuff like annual reports, billing, etc, and another coworker will handle the day-to-day things, but that other coworker is out of the office today, so I'm doing everything. I'm still retraining myself on the details of the job, so it takes me a while to do anything. Plus, you know, I still have my own job to do. I'm more than happy to help though. I know the company's in a bind, and I don't want to see the program I used to run go down the drain.

This weekend should be fun. Not sure what's going on tonight... may just have some cuddle time with FI since he's been working late a lot this week. I think I'll make him dinner and help him build a Lego set or something. Maybe watch some anime with him too. All things he loves. Saturday we need to run to the grocery store, CLEAN the apartment, and move some stuff down to the detached garage for storage. His parents are coming by around 6 to see the new apartment, and then we're going to a nice steakhouse in Dallas for his dad's 72nd birthday. Sunday we're going to visit some friends and see their new house, which is out by a lake. Not sure what we'll be doing, but I know it will be fun. We haven't seen them since July because we both moved at the same time, and then FI and I went to Cancun and then I was sick and yeah... definitely excited to socialize more.

I'm sooooooo tired again today. I got 9 hours of sleep, but I feel like I barely slept at all. I know antibiotics can cause fatigue, but this is crazy! I'm sipping my crack tea (Yogi Blueberry Green Tea... it's amazing) and trying to motivate myself to start the day.

As far as WR stuff goes, I haven't done a whole lot. We still have tons of time, so I've been trying to plan when to buy things, when to ask for quotes for other things, etc. We found a few invitation suites on Wedding Paper Divas that we really like, and I think if we can get them on a good sale (which seems to happen frequently), we can get everything for less than $500. We may also decide to DIY them though... not sure yet. But THIS is the suite I like, and THIS is the suite FI likes. He loves purple and says the font reminds him of Harry Potter lol. If we decide to buy them from Wedding Paper Divas, I'll probably get everything on Black Friday... I'm assuming they have a good sale then. I ordered samples when I saw their big Labor Day sale, and everything looks really nice. For those who are married--what did you spend on invitations? Did you do the pockets or anything fancy? I plan to do online RSVPs to keep costs down, and I've budgeted for stamps too. Just trying to figure out if I should start looking at other options now. FMIL is really crafty, so I could always enlist her help with DIY invitations. I can't cut in a straight line to save my life, so it's not something I could do on my own. :-\

@eilis1228 - we used Zazzle.com to design our invitations.  it wasn't a super formal wedding, so I didn't have inserts or anything.  I think we spent $250 for like 150 invites (they were front and back, with textured paper) and envelopes.  that's not including the stamps.  I could have got them cheaper, but I wanted the textured paper.

@eilis1228 - you can order samples of what you design to make sure you like the colors/texture/whatever.  I ordered a few of those but didn't include them in the overall cost.

@Swazzle & I will be looking at our (hopefully) future homes at the same time tonight! We're meeting our realtor at the cute little Cape with the pool at 6pm. He said he had some "findings" for us, so I'm hoping that they're all good! 

In AW news, I picked up MY DRESS last night! 

I can't even handle that it's hanging in my closet right now.

This weekend: I have to work tomorrow - our first home field hockey game of the season, yay! Sunday we might go to a couple open houses, depending on what happens tonight, and then FOOTBALL. Unfortunately, we live in fucking New York, and even though we're closer to Massachusetts than Buffalo or NYC, we can't see the Patriots, so we'll be watching either the Bills (ugh) or the fucking Jets (NO THANK YOU, PLEASE).

I feel like most of my weekend is pretty much a non-event.

Tonight FI and I will go to the gym to work out and then go home and figure something out for dinner. We didn't get our hotdogs from Costco last night. Instead we bought some tilapia and made some super yummy fish tacos!

Tomorrow I'm going shopping with @southernpeach89 and our mom to hopefully find her a MOB dress. She's super petite and hard to shop for so I hope we find something as easily as we did last year for southern's wedding!

Sunday I don't have any plans. I should probably focus on organizing our laundry room and basement office since the weekends before the wedding are starting to fill up with things to do

@Ollie08 - For some reason your post just reminded me of a bumper sticker I saw, it said 'My favorite 2 college football teams are Ohio State and anybody that is playing against Michigan'.

@eilis1228 - Since only 10-12 people are coming to my wedding, I didn't do invites.  I thought about doing pocket invites for a time (just to not feel cheated out of invites).  If you have older guests coming, online RSVPs probably aren't the best thing to do.  So far all wedding printing I've done has been through VistaPrint - I was able to get groupons (they do them quite often).

@severmilli12 - Tomorrow!!  Can't wait for pics!!!  

Dress fitting went really well - it was way less than I expected and budgeted for (I thought it was going to be $300-350, it was $160!!).  I'm just hoping she does an excellent job, she has really good reviews and was really helpful.
