accessories - please help

I was wondering if these accessories go with my dress. I have a blusher veil but I feel it's a little to over the top for the dress so i was thinking a birdcage veil would be better. I also have a crystal headband (as shown in the pictue) and i was thinking a simple ivory pearl necklace. Should I change anything? ...otherwise...I'm at a complete loss and idk what to do...

    Defiitely go with the birdcage veil, and I think all of your other choices for jewelry are good!

    However, I don't think I would wear the crystal headpiece with the veil.

    Not a fan of necklaces with wedding dresses.  Maybe get a subtle bracelet that coordinates with your headpiece instead.

    How long is the veil you have?  Does it have any embellishment?  Personally I like regular veils over birdcages.  I don't think, regardless of the length of veil, that it would be too over the top with your dress.

    Bracelets tend to be to big for my wrists and often slide off so I've always avoided them. The veil i have now goes to almost fingertip (just a tad shorter). I feel like almost every accessory i think of is to over the top for the dress

    It really isn't though.

    Right now you have a veil, a dress and a headband.  That isn't over the top.  It is subtle and pretty and will compliment your dress rather then over shadow it. Now if you said that you had a 4 layered veil covered in rhinestones and were going to wear huge costume jewelry and massive earrings that way your ear lobes down plus rings on every finger, then that would be over the top.

    It's quite a fancy dress; I don't see how a veil would be too much for it.  But I agree with PPs that it's probably a choice between veil and headband.  

    Personally, I don't think that a birdcage would suit that dress much.  I tend to only like them paired with vintage or vintage recreations.

    I think I'm going to forgo the veil. I have a feeling FI is going to purchase a pearl necklace so I'll just wear the crystal headband and pearl necklace but I worry mixing straight pearls with straight crystal may look weird...

    Veils are so minimalist these days that they go with anything.  A simple, single layer veil would be lovely.  Pearls - yes.  Crystals - no.
