Do these look cheap?

I think I'm going to get these earrings - with gold metal and ivory pearls. Do you think they look cheap?

I don't think they look "cheap", but I do think they are about $20 too much.

ETA: Personally, I'd either go for an all pearl cluster earring, like these

I think they look gorgeous! In my experience, buying online can be really hit and miss. Usually if the seller has lots of positive reviews (as they do in this case), you should be fine!

Honestly... Yeah, I do. Sorry, those little plastic "crystal" beads just don't do it for me. Those are what we used to make stretchy bracelets and safety pin flags out of.

This.  The "crystal" beads are what makes them look cheap.  Those "crystals" will not give you any kind of shine, but will just look dull.  And I also think that the price is high for what you are getting.

They look a little homemade/artsy craftsy.  They'd be fine with a cardigan for brunch, but wedding day?  The hair salon I go to has a rack of jewelry at the counter that's all little beads stuck together like this.  I think they have those in turquoise for about $10.  You want something really special.  I also wonder if they'd show up nicely in photos from afar.  

Have you considered a drop earring or something with crystal in it?

Sorry, but yes. I do think they look cheap.

Yeah, the "crystal" beads put them into the cheap/homemade category. PP have good alternatives.
