H is taking Bella to the vet this morning to get her lump aspirated again.  vet won't be in until 9:00.  I'm a mess today.

we're supposed to have family photos tonight (me, H, and the pups).  anxiety attack last night, so my face is severely post-crying puffy.  so glad I get off at 10:45... give me time to go home, snuggle H and the dogs, take a nap, shower, and rest up.

hoping we get good news from the vet today.

oh!  tomorrow is my last PMP class.  all the test dates are taken until December now, so I'm pretty disappointed about that.  now I have to keep studying for at least a month!!  I can apply and secure my date tomorrow, so hoping I can get the first week of Dec!!  think lots of happy thoughts for familia Coco this weekend, please?

I'm actually excited to have nothing big planned for the weekend. After work tonight I may meet my uncle in the city for drinks. I haven't seen him in a while, so that would be fun - he's only 11 years older than me so he's more like a cousin than an uncle. I'm trying to save every dime I can though, so I have to tell him I can only come out if he's paying! 

Other than that, I reeeally want to go to BBB to start our registry there this weekend. FI seems to think that this is something he doesn't have to be involved in.... HA. I'm sure we'll also spend a few hours at the dog park with the pup this weekend as well.

In WR news, we booked a florist yesterday! We significantly scaled back on the types of flowers / number of pieces from what we first had quoted for us, but that will give me room in the budget to hire a DOC, so I think it's the right choice.

Also - I got an email from our photographer yesterday afternoon saying that The Knot contacted her about publishing some of our e-pics, and she asked me to write up a few things about how FI and I met, our relationship, etc. I wrote up a paragraph and asked her if she knew where on the site our pictures would be, and she told me it's actually for the magazine!!! I really hope they use some of our pics and our story - that would be such a cool keepsake to have!

@Hummingbird125 - you have so much good stuff in your post!!!  I hope you get picked for the magazine, too...  your photos turned out great, so I'm not surprised.

H just texted and said someone pooped in the living room.  it had to be Bella because I saw Bax taking a big ol' dump in the backyard this morning (TMI).  I hope it's just because she has a new toy that she's too busy playing with, and not because something is wrong.  I'm a nervous wreck!!

for this weekend:  we're supposed to have family photos tonight, and then we're going to take the pups home, grab dinner, and go buy me a couple sweaters.  we're getting a cold blast next week and I gave away most of my clothes this summer when I got a new job, so, hello! need some winter wear all of the sudden.

tomorrow is my last PMP class, and then we're gorging on Guatemalan pancakes and crashing.  doing some Christmas shopping with my mom.

Sunday is church and I can't think of anything else exciting.

Happy Friday! 

I'm leaving work early today and driving straight to my parents' house so I can spend the whole weekend with my babies!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously can't wait and if I could leave right now, I would. I'm going to snuggle and kiss all of their faces RIGHT off. I will probably also cry. I have a lot of emotions. 

My stepdad has to work out of town all weekend and H isn't coming with me so my mom and I are having a girl's weekend. We're planning on wearing sweatpants all weekend including when we go to the movies tomorrow afternoon to see Nightcrawler. There will also be pickle dip involved. 

At some point on Sunday, I'll drive home and be sad about leaving the kids. It's going to be a very relaxing weekend filled with snugs

Tonight I'm going to go work out because I didn't get to last night. Unfortunately, I got into a bad car wreck as I was driving to the gym and didn't make it since my back has been sore since. The guy ran into the back of the car and luckily it's not totaled but we will be driving my car for the next week or so until H's car is repaired.

We are going out to Mexican tonight with H's friends and just relaxing. It's been a crazy week. Saturday I plan to go to the outlet mall to get some throw pillows for our bed and Ann Taylor Loft to use the rest of a GC I got for my birthday. 

Sunday I might clean a bit and just relax.

I hope you are able to relax and enjoy your weekend. If your back isn't feeling better you should definitely go visit your doctor!

This morning I was up and ready early because of our random delivery from Best Buy. As it turns out, H's parents ordered us a 7.1 cubic foot deep freezer! Woohoo!! We've been thinking about buying one for awhile so I'm really happy they got us it for a gift.

Today I really need to hit up the grocery store. I've been saying this all week and H and I just haven't been able to  make it after work so today I'm going. I also want to go to Michael's, and maybe run a couple other small errands. My mom is coming over tonight to stay with us for the weekend so I need to finish doing laundry and make sure everything is straightened up around the house. Tonight we're going out for dinner but I'm not sure where yet.

Tomorrow my mom and I plan to go shopping together and then we'll probably grill for dinner. I don't really have any other set plans other than write thank you notes, and organize.

This weekend I'm busy with wedding stuff. Tomorrow I have to meet with the florist and pay them, Sunday I have my hair and makeup trial. Tonight I have my (hopefully) final dress fitting. Dress fittings make me so anxious so I'll be glad when it's over with.

I also have a cold so this isn't helping me today, the day is going to DRAG.

@Southernpeach89 - Oh no!  I'm sorry you got in a wreck, but I'm so glad you're okay!

Today/this weekend is going to be awesome, I think.  I got up early this morning to squeeze in a workout (upper body strength training), and to finish off one last source before it has to go back to the library.  The source ended up being super not helpful (always a pleasant surprise when it's a 500-page book and you don't actually have to go all the way through it), so now I have a lot of time before my meeting with the priest at 10:30.  I teach Zumba, and then have to go up to campus to meet with my advisor...hopefully he has good feedback on my chapters and I can keep this momentum going.

I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I have to be out on the road anyway to go to OKC to hit up Sephora's 20% off VIB sale.  I think I'm going to get new perfume, plus start on some Christmas shopping.  Plus...I get to pick up my veil!  (Back story: right after Mr. Historian and I decided to get married and had that awesome thing called a timeline, my BFF/MOH came for her once-yearly visit, we went looking for my dress and found it completely unexpectedly.  Then our timeline had to get abandoned because he ended up on an unexpected redeployment.  So now it's sitting in my closet getting tried on again with every 5 pounds I lose and now the veil is here and so the next time I try it on I can have the WHOLE THING.  (Inordinately excited Historian here)

Then tomorrow I'm making dinner for my mom's birthday, which was yesterday.  I'm making shrimp and scallops in a white wine sauce and a white cake with chocolate buttercream frosting.  I love to cook and have people over, so I'm happy for an excuse.  Sunday is Nutcracker rehearsal and church.

So, basically, the summary of my weekend is: "AAAAAAH...makeup and veil and food!!"

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!  This week has been so long.  I thought I'd never see Friday.  

Tonight is date night!!! H and I are trying out a new restaurant/bar called The District Tap. I'm pretty excited.  They've been working on the building for several months now and I've been patiently waiting for them to open

Tomorrow we are cleaning, purging, and organizing all day. I'm half dreading it and half excited to get it done.  I have so many clothes and shoes to go through. I need to get rid of a lot of stuff so I have room for new stuff  Our guest bedroom is still a wedding nightmare. All of our wedding stuff is laying around and it looks like a tornado hit it. Its a fright, so I'm really excited to get it cleaned up and organized so we can have our guest bedroom back.

Sunday we are RELAXING...until evening when H has to play drum at church.

@lapeanut1018 I miss you guys too but there are a lot of new posters and I don't even know who they are!!!! Your wedding pics are gorgeous BTW. I would LOVE a chest freezer. I'm thinking maybe next year FI and I will just bite the bullet and buy one when we do all our renovations to the house.

@cocobellaf I'm going to have my BM take some pics tonight. The last fitting I went with my flaky MOH and she "forgot" to take pictures. Maybe I'll bring my veil tonight too and see how it looks with the dress. My tailor has the patience of a saint to put up with me. He's the best!

I'm not sure what is going on this weekend.  I have to write a paper and work on my thesis, but that's not exciting.  We have to finish doing the duct work on the house and then sheetrock should be going up either end of next week or the following week.  So I guess I should find the paint samples bf & I picked out so we can figure out what colors we need to buy. And we should probably pick out carpet and flooring samples.

Not a whole lot going on for me this weekend.  Actually, that's a lie.

I'm leaving early today to make it out to my girl scout function, and then we're having a meeting for one of our girls to finish her Gold Award paperwork.  After that, M and I have plans to go see Big Hero 6.  I AM SO EXCITED.

Tomorrow I have an appt to pick out a bridesmaid's dress, and I really need to go for a run.  I think we're also planning on doing laundry and cleaning, because being an adult sucks.

Sunday I'm meeting up with a friend from run club for a Sephora run and then we have a Girls on the Run Solemates movie/girls' day.  I know one of the girls is bringing Jamberry, we're all supposed to bring nail polish and makeup, and there will be food and crafting.  I'm super excited, since we have a bigger Solemates team this year, so I don't know everyone yet.  It should be a good year, and it looks like we're trying to do fewer "happy hour" style events and more "let's hang out and eat and do things" events, which makes me happy.

@LaPeanut1018 - I am excited for your chest freezer! I will be old and boring with you! In the houses that FI and I looked at a few months ago I kept checked to see if there was a chest freezer and if it was included in the sale lol

@severmilli12 - Tomorrow is cleaning day for me too. Except my purging will be going through my freezer to make space for the cooking I'm doing tomorrow (see why I want a chest freezer @LaPeanut1018 ?)

For once, I actually have NOTHING planned for this weekend, and I intend of keeping it that way!

Tonight FI and I might go for dinner or a movie, and I need to go to the grocery store and get a birthday present for my dad.

Tomorrow I am sleeping in, going to the gym, cleaning my apartment and doing some bulk cooking to freeze. So far I know I'm making soup and mac and cheese, but I might add something. FI is supposed to be coming to help with the mac and cheese since he's the one that wants me to make it and it's a fair bit of work. Then Saturday night we're going to the Leafs game; FI and his dad were supposed to go together, but his dad is giving his ticket to me instead, which is really nice of him.

Sunday is church and then lazy time and then dinner for my dad's 60th birthday. AND Sunday is exactly 6 months until our wedding. AH!

Okay, so I do actually have stuff planned, but it's all the stuff I've been wanting to do at home for the last like 6 weeks so I'm really excited to have a day to myself, without obligations to other people lol.

@Twodimes Yay for home buying on Monday how exciting!!!

Last night I came to the finished floors I love them so much.  The floors were messy though from the grout haze.  We moved a few things back into the kitchen cleaned in there a bit and scrubbed down the floors 3x times last night to get rid of the haze.  It looked pretty good this morning though. I promise I will post pictures this weekend. Once it's all done.

Tonight I have to be at the theater for running concessions and H has hockey. Tomorrow we have no plans but working on stuff for the house and the kitchen.  My goal is repaint the trim around the baseboards and touch up some of the paint in the kitchen.  I hope it won't take too long.  

Sunday we have no plans, H has a hockey game mid afternoon.   It's also my dad's birthday so we may be getting together with my family later.  I feel such a huge relief knowing the kitchen is done now for the most part.  We are thinking about changing up some of the lighting fixtures though.

I just had a second interview yesterday for a job I'm really hoping I'll get. Waiting for the phone call that says I'll have the third interview. Fingers crossed. This might be a huge turning point for me in my young adult life!
