Re: UO

  • Oh in terms of pictures, I think it's tacky to announce your engagement by just having a close up of your ring.  How about a picture of you with the man you are excited to marry?  THAT is the important part!

And yeah, sonogram pics are gross, literally no one cares about what's inside of your uterus, simply stating "we are having a baby" or something to that effect is sufficient.

Making the sonogram pic your profile pic.

    NO!

Eh, I don't mind one for the announcement.  But constant updates? That gets old to me.

On the flip side, I DO enjoy seeing baby bump progress pics.  Obviously not every day, but like every trimester or something, I do enjoy seeing those.

    I love Taylor Swift.

    I hate Adam Sandler movies.

I think ombre hair looks ridiculous.

THANK YOU. Looks like your damn roots grew out. Truly terrible.
Yup. Back in the day, it used to be "I couldn't afford to go and get my hair colored so this is what it looks like after 6 months." I'm really waiting for the black roots and platinum blonde ombre to come into style. I've seen some where it's like 1-2" of regrowth, but I want to see some real commitment to the style.

@mikenbergermy comp is being stupid and not letting me attach photo- google "90 day fiance cassia" and you will see her hair. 6 inches black 6 inches bleach

    image

    Yup. That's it.

And what IS this 90 day fiance show? Level of trash?

@jenna8984 - Who woke up one day and thought "Hey you know what would be awesome? If the bottom of my hair was a completely different colour from the top!" Seriously, ombre hair in a bun where the bun is one colour and the rest of their hair is another, makes me a bit twitchy.

I thought I'd seen bad ombre and then I saw 90 day fiancé.

Her hair is just epic levels of awful. It was painful to look at.

You might not want to look at my fridge then. I currently have a copy of a sonogram of my niece on the fridge. My sister gave it to me and I haven't bothered to put it in the photo album with my nephews sonogram pics.
  • @SmileDamnit congratulations, you just scarred me for life.  That is horrifying.

That is totally fine, it's in your home on your fridge.  It's not on your social media for everyone you have ever come in contact with to see.  Sorry I should have specified that my issue is in posting sonogram pictures online, if you have your own sonogram at home or a family members that you want to see, go for it.  Just keep that shit off the internet haha

I didn't think I much liked beards, but then H grew one. He keeps is washed, combed, oiled and trimmed and I like it. He looks hot. Not all men can pull off a beard, a lot of them can't. But he REALLY can.

And his mustache is now long enough to wax. Heehee, I'm sexing a saloon bartender.
I actually hate that it's a "trend" because I have always thought long beards were sexy since I was 15 years old. All of my boyfriends have always had one, as well as my husband. But now people think he just does it to be a hipster, and people post stupid things like the beard flowers/ beard xmas ornaments on my FB because they think I'm just into the trend. No!!!!
Ditto. FI has had a beard for years, and he's had flannel shirts since he was a kid. We were at a bar the other night and literally every single guy sitting at the bar was in a plaid flannel with a beard, as was FI. He looked around and said "fuck, I'm trendy now." It's annoying cuz neither of us are the type of people to follow trends. He was just doin' his own thing and then a trend came along and swallowed him whole. Damnit.
Also flannel was a thing in the 90s. It's not new. I wore flannel all the time in early high school

Right there with you! Nope, nope, nope, no to the brie.

I tried it once, I didn't enjoy how the hair felt on my lady bits.  I do think it can look very sexy on some men though.  My FI couldn't grow a full beard to save his life haha, he would be all patchy

  • UO:  I hate almost all nuts.  Brownies with nuts?  Not worth eating.  Same with cookies.  I pick the M&M's out of the trailmix and leave everything else.  Exceptions to this rule are plain salted peanuts, carmelized pecans in salads, and chocolate covered macadamia nuts (and I almost always just eat the chocolate and leave the nut, so...).

  • I have no desire to EVER watch Doctor Who. I thought It was stupid before I was forced to watch it for a class, which just reinforced my opinion of its stupidity.

PLS STILL LIKE ME, INTERNET FRANZ.
    O.O

I dunno if I can even go on in this thread.  Tea hating was sad enough, but this?!

    4TH DR 4 LIFE!!!!!

OK, in all fairness, I grew up watching the original episodes on re-run as a child with my Dad, so Dr. Who has a very sentimental place in my heart.  I'm not always a huge fan of the new episodes.
