Anyone ever seen/heard of this?

So I was at CVS today and saw flyer type ad things for this.http://www.storkotc.com/  It basically seems to be a device for at home insemination.  I thought it was an interesting concept, kind of wonder how much more effective it is than straight up sex, if at all.  I think this sounds great for same sex couples, or someone who is trying to get pregnant on their own, kind of seems like more work for a straight couple with no sex related issues.  But what do I know, was wondering on if anyone had ever seen this before/what they thought of it.

Sorry just thought someone might find it interesting, seems like a lot of people have been ttc lately.  My bad.

  • I've never heard of it. But I'm not ttc either, so I haven't been paying attention to any of that stuff.

  • Whoaaa. I haven't heard of this, but it sounds like a great idea.
  • I haven't heard of it either. Would be interesting to hear about someone's perspective who has used it.

You asked what I thought of it. I don't care what people do in their bedrooms, so I write that I don't care.

I mean, technically you could even do this on a patio. Or anywhere, really! It's so versatile!

  • its kinds weird but I guess it would help with the mess of semen... like keep it from slipping out (sorry TMI) idk

it says its target audience is couples who are struggling to conceive

  • I am deeply concerned by the prospect of buying over-the-counter insemination products. Can you think of how many people could touch them while they're sitting on the shelves? UGH.

No, but I can't tell you how many people I have seen open boxes, fiddle with the stuff inside, and then put them back on the shelf. Gross gross gross.

  • I imagine they are sealed like any intimate product you buy at the grocery store. I'm more concerned about leaving the cap in my hoohaa for four hours :open_mouth:
