  • Hello,
    I am also unable to edit my website. When clicking on my website tab through the knot, it just brings me to the create a website page and continually reloads every few seconds. I have tried using different internet browsers (i.e. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari) but still do not have the ability to edit.  I would really like to update my website, as I have already ordered the save-the-date notifications with the website link provided by you when I initially created the site.  Thank you in advance for your help.

    I have an old and new wedding website.  I haven't been able to access the old one at all until today, and now it's the only website I can access.  I really want to delete the old one and just use the new one.  How do I do that?  When you google our registry, both websites are attached, I feel like it makes things so confusing.
  • I am not able to access my website when I click on the 'my website' link. It prompts me to create a new website using the old designs, when my current website is one of the new designs.  My website does show up when I search for it using 'find a couple' or typing the website into Safari. I am in the final stages of approving my save the date cards so I would like to have this issue resolved before I print them with the website listed.

  • I am having the same problems as the others before me! I created a website for my wedding 3-4 weeks ago and now I am unable to edit. I am using my HP and the browser is internet explorer. Whenever I try to go to my website from the knot, it takes me back to create a new webpage. Being as lazy as I am, I don't want to create a whole new website because I put a lot of work into the last one!

  • I am attempting to access the "my website" tab, when I click on it, it takes me to the webpage everyone else is talking about. I try to click on the options available to create a new design but nothing happens. I can't get past this page. I don't even care to create a new design I am fine using the old one. Just want to be able to access it. Thank you!!

  • I can't access my personal domain that I've recently purchased and started building. I can go to my actual site, but it is not linked to my 'knot' account and info. So I am not able to edit or anything. All it gives me is the option to use the automatic 'knot' free website, or purchase a new domain. Please help.

    I am having the exact same issue as Maria above and it is extremely frustrating as I put my purchased personal domain address on my Save The Date magnets so i really need to access it. The domain I am trying to access and edit is caropluschris.com. I inadvertently created a 2nd, free site page which it automatically refreshes too, which I want deleted. I just want to have control over my personal domain page!

  • I have the original website printed on my save the date cards.  I need to get back into the original site. I do not want to get new save the date cards.  They were supposed to go out last week but I do not want to send them out without the website being complete or without the ability to edit or update.  And, I really need assistance now.

  • Caroline, are you getting any response?  This is ridiculous.  I am in the same situation.  I am starting a new website on weddingwire as a back up.  I am frustrated with the lack of technical support for those who had confidence in the knot.

    I called their support number ( 1 800-390-9784) and spoke to a lady who said they are "swamped" with over "1500 emails backed up" to answer and that phone calls are their first priority right now. I explained the situation and she said she would delete my duplicate site and forward my problem on to a tech support who should have it resolved in "24 to 48 hours at the latest." I can't really create another site now as it's on my Save the Dates, and I expressed this to her so hopefully they will get caught up and fix this glitch!

    My fiance and I created a website through Knot and upgraded it for a personal domain name. This domain however does not turn up on doing searches of all kinds- all it does is take us to the registry on knot first and then show a link to the website.  Anyone have the same issue?

  • Hi. I am trying to edit the pages on my website dashboard and I am getting a popup saying they are working on that and it will be done by the end of January. Is there a date we can anticipate this? I'm having major formatting issues.

    I know you all are a very high-traffic site, but I have to say the lack of follow through and no notification that the site is having major bug/glitch issues with your wedding website is very unprofessional.
    This is is absolutely ridiculous. As per my e-mail above, if you are backlogged 1500 + e-mails from subscribers, obviously that system is not working. I came onto this site an excited bride to be, eager to make my website (which I paid $20 for) and add all my information, but now I just feel anxious about a possibly defunct wedding website being on my Save the Dates, stressed, and irritated that The Knot seems to not be directly addressing this HUGE site wide issue.

     I apologize if this post comes across as rude, but it's unacceptable. I know you all are probably working hard to fix the issue, but don't leave subscribers in the dark. At the very least you all could send a courtesy e-mail out to subscribers with an update on the situation.

    There is not a "Choose a Design" section for us to select from or an "Upgrade" option.  There is only "Themes" that we can select from, and personally it is not as user friendly as the other pages we've seen with the former designs.  

    How can we "Choose a Design" from the former designs instead of using the "Themes?"

    Your immediate assistance is very much appreciated!

    I have tried working on both a Mac as well as PC and I come across the same issues with both. When I am not logged into my Knot account I can view all of the new website themes, however, when I am logged into my account I can't seem to view the "Pick a Theme" page for more than a few seconds before it refreshes and brings me back to my website editing page. This is especially upsetting because I just purchased my own domain name for my website with the understanding that I would be able to use the new themes. If I had known that I would not be able to access the new themes, I would not have bought a domain name.

    I have sent a couple of emails and have received spotty responses. One of the emails said that I would need to delete my account in order to access the new website themes? I hope this isn't true. If it is, will I still be able to use my domain name?

    This information is kind of time sensitive as I am in the process of printing our invitations and information for guests and would like to include details regarding our website.

  • Everyone wants the new website but the old one seems si much better! Why don't I have a guestbook?! I really want a guestbook on my website please! How about that honeymoon section? The new website doesn't have it. :-1:
    please make the new websites better. ... it's already the end of January so we should be getting those updates soon right?

  • Hello - I would like to upgrade my personal website to use the new templates.  I went through the steps of selecting "Choose Design" and selected the "Modern" templates, but I was not able to find the option to upgrade as one of the help pages I came across had mentioned.

    Could you please help with this?  Thank you!

  • I'm getting the same issue, as in it refreshes to theknot.com when I click on "My Website".

    This happens both on my Windows laptop, and on my office computer. I can get on it on my Samsung tablet, however I'm unable to scroll down any of the website pages.

    I just received the following e-mail from the Knot below  and unfortunately all my issues still remain and have not been resolved. I still am unable to edit my personal, paid domain and the inadvertently created free Knot website has still not yet been deleted (this is after talking with a representative on the phone who assured me it would be deleted in 48 hours..this was over a week ago). So beyond frustrated.


    EDIT: I called 1/28 and within 2 minutes the Knot staff member, Destiny, had it fixed. Thank you!!! She deleted the free knot site and now it recognizes my paid domain as the only site and i can edit it and eveything. Call the support number.: 877-335-5252  and they have changed their hours, closing at 3 Pacific Standard Time now (not 6 like it is listed on board) so make sure you call early enough.

  • I'm having the same issue. I created my website a few months ago, I also have a personal domain address linked to it, I also have a password for the site which is on my save the date cards that have been sent out to my guests. 

    At this point, I would love to update the wedding theme to a new theme as I fell in love with one of them...

    I'm using firefox on PC, and I certainly hope that tech service can help us out!!!!!
