Hi all! I know I've been pretty MIA this past week, I started my new job and can't knot during the day anymore but I'm definitely lurking and keeping up with things!

Anyways, I'm going totally nuts waiting for BF to hear back from graduate schools! Hopefully he will hear back any day now. I know he's even more anxious/worried than I am so I'm trying to make sure he doesn't see any of my nerves but they are absolutely there! So basically while I'm telling him over and over again - Don't worry, of course you will get an interview - Internally I'm doing this:

@TwoDimes - He applied to biomedical science programs at University of Washington (but we already heard he didn't get in there, but that one was a reach anyway), UC-Denver, and University of Utah. UC-Denver is his top choice.

@bethsmiles - I had a friend who 4.0'd the bioengineering program at UW, plus had amazing job, research, and competition experience. UW didn't accept her into their medical program.............. So now she goes to Harvard Medical instead.

So I guess what I am saying is, yea, that one's definitely not something to feel bad about, haha. They seem to like...........foreign people.

@AlPacina - Yeah, UW is crazy hard to get into. One of the grad students who works in the same lab as BF told him he got his rejection letter (well e-mail) from UW the day after he applied. It at least took them 3 weeks to reject BF, we figured hey at least they seemed to have considered it for a moment lol.

@bethsmiles, Thank you! I've applied to some physical therapy programs as well as a Master's program in Child Studies. (Not quite sure what I want to do after graduation in May).
