I hate the word "fat".. I prefer to call myself curvy. But I thought that article was great and I liked reading it.

I hate this, if you're fat you're a lazy asshole but if you're skinny it's all good mentality. 

I'm not overweight. I never really have been. This is not because I eat salad and work out all the time. This is because I have a fast metabolism. I had the shittiest diet of anyone I knew for the longest time. I counted far away parking spaces as working out. But hey, I was a skinny so no one said shit to me.

One of my friends is a larger woman. Girlfriend eats crazy healthy, works out 2 hours a day, teaches an aerobics class and is still technically overweight (per BMI charts). And people have called her lazy to her face. We were getting ice cream together one day and this total stranger stops, looks at her and goes "You people disgust me, you're fucking stuffing your face when you should be working out", my friend stopped me from throat punching the bitch because she's a good person. And told me she deals with assholes like that all the time. She said she figures their life must be really sad to have to go around and bully total strangers about their food choices. 

I don't care why you have the body you have. It's your fucking body, not mine. I don't have a right to comment on it. I love stories of people (of all body sizes) owning their fabulousness and working it for all it is worth. Cause look, we're only here one time and not for very long. So own it and be happy. And let the shit stains of the world fuck each other over.

From one curvy lady to another, let me just say that I think you are beautiful inside and out. "Fat" is not a bad word, so I absolutely use it to describe myself. Because you know what? It's just a fact. Like "brunette" or "tall". Being curvy doesn't make you lazy, stupid, or mean. (But I get the sense that she is all three of those things.) Please, please don't let her get to you. You are wonderful just the way you are.

Fuck that.  Your body is yours and no one has the right to judge it or comment on it.  Your body is not there to please someone else's eyes and fit into their ideal.  You are beautiful, fat or skinny, and lifestyle is certainly not the only factor in body type and size.  
Also, body positive blogs on tumblr are really helpful, at least they were to me.
