Wholesale flowers?

I need to bulk buy a ton of baby's breath to decorate our in suite reception with. This from Costco is perfect: http://www.costco.com/Baby's-Breath-(Gypsophila)-100-Stems.product.11333477.html but I believe you have to pay for membership? Can anyone recommend or suggest anywhere I'd be able to get what I need? I'm in the UK and not a tradesperson!

Re: Wholesale flowers?

  • Correct on the membership, and another thing that you may find annoying is that they do not accept Visa or Mastercard credit cards, just Amex, their own card, cash and check/debit.  I'm not sure how prevalent Amex is outside of the US so if you would have wanted to put everything on a Visa that would be a problem.

That being said, they do have a number of guest days per year where anyone can shop, but the chances of that being the same day you want to shop there are low.

I'd recommend using the Las Vegas Blvd location of Whole Foods:

    6689 Las Vegas Blvd.
    Las Vegas, NV 89119

They have a great floral department.  If you're talking about needing a large quantity, might be good to call them in advance to see if they can either accommodate you as-is or order it for you.

The canadian costco.ca takes all credit cards.... But you are correct about the membership. I ordered my flowers from costco.com and they were good, no issues at all. Oh if you have a gift card (costco cash card) you don't need a membership to use it. :)

Let me check on types of payments....
