I thought Carl saw a zombie in the window, not a person.  Maybe I was wrong. (Tempted to go back and check because I haven't deleted that episode from my DVR, but that's more effort that I will likely feel like exerting.) But I bet that is who Enid is sneaking off to see, either way.  And I was thinking she took the gun.  But now I wonder if it was Morgan.

I made the effort while you were posting! Great minds....but yep, Enid.

I was kind of hoping Morgan, as well.

See, I really felt that things were happening...but what???? Like I felt all this escalating tension and build up, but aaargh! It's all hidden. And the title is "Remember." I'm supposed to remember something. I really felt the title was a kind of clue. Does this make sense? I should watch it again, and look for clues. They usually hide them through the show.

For whatever weird reason, Deanna reminded me of Kathy Bates as Jo Bennett from The Office. Seriously. Maybe it was the video interviews. I kept expecting her to say things like, "If you ain't workin or killin zombies, you're dumber than a dummy," or "Sit down, Daryl, I'm not talkin to your crotch."

Okay, I missed so many things that you guys saw. I'm glad for this thread, I want to go re-watch it now!

My only contribution - I dislike baby face rick. I didnt love his beard, but I preferred it over so smooth!

So I was talking to FI about the episode during lunch and something occurred to me-- remember the Wolf cult thing? Like there was graffiti on a wall or something a few episodes back that said something like "Beware the Wolves!" 

And then the comic the Carl found in the attic that ended up belonging to Enid? It was something about wolves. Maybe she's sneaking out to give supplies/info to the Wolves cult? Maybe she's part of it?? Or is that stuff ever gonna amount to anything? I could be reading something into nothing but it seemed like the writers were going somewhere with it. 

I was thinking about it Sunday night when I first saw the comic, and then Rick was walking alone in the dark down that street and everything was all eerie and quiet. So I said "OMG they're all werewolves! It's a werewolf colony!" Totally joking. I just got an eerie werewolf horror movie vibe from the scene, but I'm sure the show will not be going in that direction lol. But now FI is stuck on the idea.

I'm wondering about the Wolves, too! Good catch, Novella! 

Because this is bothering me...how have these Alexandrian people survived? We've seen their fighting skills in action, and it wasn't impressive. Their guns were pitiful. The security is lax. A little girl alone can scale the walls. People are just going in and out.

Anybody could have taken that place. There are really bad people out there. Terminus bad, Governor bad, assorted roving packs of bad guys bad. 

So something's very off, there. They've either recently lost their security people, or they still have them outside, somewhere. Maybe fighting Wolves?

Maybe the Wolves are some kind of impending outside threat? Is that why they need the Rick Family?

The bolded really stood out to me. Compared to the Governor's town, Terminus, etc., it just seemed strange how a kid could come and go so easily. Definitely something a little off...

I've been wondering about the wolves thing since I spotted it in the episode where Tyrese was killed. Seems like a weird thing to just never bring up again. And remember all the bodies in the truck with the arms and legs all around Noah's town? Weiiiird.

Yeah the security doesn't seem fantastic and they all seem timid and weak. I feel as per usual something else is going on behind the scenes.

The asshole guy did specify how far they had gone from their town. I wonder if that radius included Noah's town. Or if these exiles could have something to do with the whole wolves thing.

I think I remember Sasha saying they were about 60 miles out from DC an episode or two ago when they were foraging in the woods for food. I think that was shortly before the water bottles showed up and the pack of dogs went by too!

I also wonder, if it turns into Rick trying to take over the town, if this will divide up the group.  I can't see Michonne going along with it.

I watch the TV with CC (closed captions) all the time. Otherwise I probaly would have thought it was Eden, but I read it as Enid.

Definitely Enid. I remarked at how strangely they named all the kids. Carl, Judith, Roy, Enid? Da fuq? They'd all be Taylor and Madison.

wth Carol?  Made me think of that book on child abuse she randomly grabbed last season.  I mean it was necessary to keep the kid quiet but still pretty uncomfortable.

I didn't catch the scarlet letter reference. I was just thinking the A looked an awful lot like the Ws and that didn't really make sense. Thought it was interesting how her husband suddenly transformed into being a respectful and likable doctor dude. 

Did anyone watch talking dead after? I was excited to because I love Kevin Smith. But man, he looked like he was going to pass out.

I am thinking the Ws are actually Ms and Morgan has gone bonkers and is carving Ms into walkers heads.  Why?  Because he is cray-cray.

I actually commented to H that Kevin Smith was sweating profusely when we were watching Talking Dead.  I just wanted someone to hand him a fan or a cold glass of water.

A "J" on the gun that Rick hid but then was stolen.

I was thinking about it some more last night. We were rewatching the last few minutes of the last episode before the new one started, and it struck me that everyone was sort of going back to the way things were. Daryl remarks that Rick is a cop again.  Daryl, meanwhile, is back to being crabby and antisocial and skinning possums just because.  Carol is dressed like a housewife. 

Then in this episode, people are turning into their enemies.  Rick is very much like Shane- paranoid, going after a married woman, having violent impulses when looking at her husband.  Carol has been a victim of abuse and now the threats she made against that kid sounded very much like something an abuser would say.

I never considered that the Ws might be Ms. That's exactly the sneaky sort of thing the writers might do to us. Throw a fake "wolf" clue at us, while Morgan's out there being 50 shades of cray.

For a huge change, it sounds like I was the only one who was bored last night.  It was time for a firework, but all I got was a very long fuse, still fizzling. I wanted secrets revealed and answers. Instead I went to a party that lasted too damned long.

Maybe I missed things. I'll try again.
