I could use some advice on hair and makeup (PIP)

haha thank you! I might re-try the hair with more volume like people suggested, and maybe part it not-so-far on the side.... You ladies have given me some really helpful input (not that I'm surprised)

I use Shea Moisture curl stuff and I love the volume.

I think you look beautiful! Personally I like the lip color but if you feel like it's too dark and are uncomfortable, you could always try one shade down.

I think doey hit the nail on the head with the blush, you only need one layer. Are you using a powder or liquid based foundation? If you happen to be using a powder to create a matte look, I would try using just a powder blush. If you want something more subtle, I would try a liquid shimmer blush from MAC or Stila. Just play around with it a bit, you have time

You are so gorgeous!! Dayum, you have beautiful eyes! I love the make-up how you have it, natural yet alluring if that makes any sense.  I also like your hair to one side with the clip, which is adorable, but I also think you look good either way.
