Location - help!

I cannot for the life of me remember how I added my location (to the left), and don't know how to take it off. And now the new knot is just making it even harder. Please help!

(sorry if this has been posted a million times before, I glanced through recent posts and didn't see anything).

When I click on the silhouette, all I get is a preferences drop down not edit profile.

Same here - I don't see anywhere to edit my location if I click Preferences either.
