WR/AW: I found my dress!!!

So I finally listened to @peekaboo2011 and went to a curvy brides salon in DC yesterday. Both Peek and another BM went with me. I had a lot of fun. I went in with a list of dresses I wanted to try, and the consultant pulled everything they had on my list....and one more. I tried on all the ones I asked for and none of them were quite right. Then I tried on the consultants pick and BAM! She was spot on. It was not at all what I asked for, but it was perfect! I'm so excited!!

Soooooo...without further ado, the dress:

Thank you all so much!!! You're gonna make my head bigger than it already is!
It was really hard doing this yesterday. Mom's favorite time of the year was Holy Week. She was a devout catholic. I spent all weekend sobbing my eyes out uncontrollably. But it was happy in the end, I sobbed in the store and made the consultants cry when they realized why my mother wasn't there. It was tough, but I'm glad I went, I'm glad I let myself love the dress, and I could hear my mom saying "Oh, Sarita!!"

I absolutely LOVE your dress. So beautiful! It fits you perfectly, you look so happy in it...it's stunning. I've also never really seen anything like it! Very unique without being crazy different.

@southernpeach89 YES! All those things were selling points, as well as being able to eat and not appear to have a food baby! The chiffon-y parts will hide my food baby!

@beanbot2002 Haha, when I read that you said the dress was Fun, it made me think of Bridesmaids lol. If you can't have fun in your wedding dress then you might need to look elsewhere lol.
