I have the day off. H has been working 60+ hour weeks and then coming home and busting his ass working on the electrical in the house. I told him I'd do all the cooking and cleaning since he's working so hard on the electrical.

The house is filthy and the only thing I've accomplished today is moving from the bed to the couch.

I can't focus on work, despite having an absolutely nauseating amount to get done, because MY BRIDAL SHOWER IS TOMORROW!

Also I've already checked my registry like 4 times this week.

No. Especially not now while I'm knocked up. 

That's really gross. DH will eat stuff like that. We've had a lot of talks about kitchen standards - when is food too old, washing hands after touching raw meat, not touching ANYTHING until you've washed raw meaty hands, etc..... I even booked a "cooking" class for us where I asked the guy ahead of time to focus mostly on food safety. Happy Valentine's Day, honey!!

I've started to become better at food safety. V doesn't have an immune system really so we have to be extra careful. I used to eat old food, I don't anymore.

Same here. I've got an iron stomach. FI is allergic to just about everything, but that doesn't stop him, so I have to be careful about even bringing things into the house. He will eat anything (and all of it).

Guys, I think there's a good chance I might be marrying a man-sized puppy.

I'm not going to lie, in early college I would definitely eat pizza that had been left out all night.  But that was about it. I don't know why pizza was the special exception, especially because I was even more of a germaphobe than I am now. 

Now I put food away as soon as we're done eating it.

FI is ANAL about food safety, and he's made me that way as well. I never was one to eat homemade food if it were left out, but I had no problem with ordering pizza to my college apartment, leaving the leftovers in my room for safekeeping, and munching on it the next day. (My roommates only stole my food when it was pizza...)

Now I don't do that. Which is probably why leftover pizza agrees with me better.

I had the day off today and I've done nothing all day. I had all these plans - go to spin, get my nails done, vacuum. None of that got done. I've been in my pajamas all day.

Ooooooooh yes, this. I drove my sister's car today to the grocery store after work and she has Sirius, and I had it on the 90s channel and had the volume all the way up and it was the best.

Also I see how loud every car I drive can get. And how quick I can get to road speed.
