My dad is a teacher @hellokb and he is always reminding me it wouldn't take much for me to get a teaching certificate. He teaches at the college level and thinks I'd do well with older kids/teens.

I think it'd be watching my language that'd be the hardest.

I would love working with teenagers, although they kind of scare me. I was homeschooled so I'm kind of surprised you can't swear in the classroom. I've had some professors that swear like a sailor so I thought it was okay (as long as they're not like, in 2nd grade or anything)
College is fine. But high school or below, nuh-uh. The occasional teacher might say "ass" which us SUCH a naughty word.
I think middle school would be the worst. That age is miserable. I remember hating everything in middle school.

Interesting, not quite what I would have picked for myself...

  • INTP here. I'm hanging out with Einstein, Yoda, and Gandalf, eating pumpkin pie and drinking martinis. Life is good!
  • I'm an ENFJ/ESFJ

Me too...I was fine with that until I saw that makes me Jar Jar Binks...never seen the movie, but from Big Bang Theory I know this is unacceptable!! :unamused:

@esstee33 Off topic, but I was on Spotify yesterday and saw your sexy songs playlist and totally forgot to ask you for that workout playlist! Although today the app was being really weird and not allowing me to play anything o.O

Yeah, girl! I haven't been on Spotify in a hot minute but I'll throw it together. :D

ETA: One of my college friends is a high school teacher and she has tattoos absolutely everywhere. It's never been an issue for her.

ETA2: Apparently I already made that playlist, but I think it may have been private. It's public now, so see if you can see it!

I had a math teacher in high school (9th and 11th grade) that swore like a sailor. Most of the time it was asshole or shit. This was 16-18 years ago, and I know times have changed.
