  • I'm not sure that I can add anything, but if the in real life version is anything like the written version, then I can understand why his response to the margarita machine thing was "I don't even know what you're saying, but I don't care."  In fact, I'm actually marveling at the fact that it was apparently the first time anyone has said that to you, because if this rambling sexist, racist nonsense you've been spouting is representative of how you normally sound, I'd have to imagine people are saying this to you all the time.  Or at least thinking it.  Go read Novella's post further up on page three - big ol' ditto to everything she wrote.

As for mac and cheese, I think I'll have to find a good way to make a gluten-free version.  It's one of the things I miss most (besides good pizza), although there is an Amy's frozen meal that does a pretty darn good job.  I'm sort of curious as to what recipe OP used now, because if it happened to be that Paula Deen crockpot mac & cheese recipe that I see people rave about (not here - because people here know how to cook), then she's lucky that all the woman said was that it needed salt.  That recipe is the most vile thing I ever put in my mouth and I would not have been shy about saying that if presented with it at a party.  I normally will not waste food and will find a way to doctor something up and make it edible and that recipe was beyond redemption.  It's the only time I've thrown out food that wasn't burned.
  • "I don't even know what you're saying, but I don't care."
  • I'm mad all this crazy went down while I was busy at orientation for my new job.

Yes OP, you're crazy. And immature, racist, sexist, dramatic, with a poor grasp of the meaning of "designated driver."

I like a little rosemary in my mashed potatoes, and crushed cheez-its on my mac and cheese.

  • What the fuck did I just read?

That being said, I might have to save this thread to reference back to for some kick ass mac n cheese suggestions.

  • I totally had mac and cheese for dinner last night.
  • @lolo883 congrats on your new job! And the cheez-its on mac and cheese sounds heavenly. Two of my favorite things!

Me too! It was Panera mac, which will do for me in a pinch.

  • I'm having it Friday... I didn't plan on it this week, so I have to wait until the next round of grocery shopping happens.

But. When it does happen... I'm making this one, probably with a touch of sriracha added. I'm excited.

I have to know- is anybody else making macaroni and cheese tonight?
Because this thread shot my diet all to hell.
we had Velveeta for dinner.    That was BEFORE I read this thread.

On another note, I  have a feeling the OP has NEVER been welcoming towards the GF, even maybe down right rude to her.   Add in a little tequila and I things came to blow.

Oh and my live in BF better the fuck support me over his BF's rude and condescending GF.

My thoughts too. Sounds like she was rude to this girl from the get-go, talked smack about her in her own house, got snappy with her, and spent the entire night gossiping about her. No shit the girl cussed out OP. I hope she said everything OP deserved to hear.

  • Yes, you are absolutely unbelivably crazy.

My Mexican wife is always telling me to add more hot sauce to food.

Clearly she, and our dragon baby, hate me.

    Yep that's my future kid.
If it makes you feel any better, that's my 2 year old now. Nothing is too hot for him. He and daddy split stuffed jalepenos. I ate spicy all through my pregnancy, it was sweet stuff that gave me heartburn.

And OMG ladies! WHO wants to cook for me? I love all the Mac and Cheese recipes. I usually use carmelised onion cheddar, and whisky cheddar.
  • novella1186  for the highlighting though).

    Ignoring the sexism/racism/bad cooking/drunk driving/gator grilling/dramatic brawl (because I just can't even)...

If she wasn't asking for advice, and she was specifically not asking for criticism.. Then what's left? A slow clap from strangers on the internet? TK seal of approval? A wider audience for your drama, because people in your life have just stopped listening?
