    Here's my prediction:

A judge rules that their wedding vows on a Post-It were not legally binding and since Derek had never updated his will his estate goes to his ex wife.

    The importance of a legal ceremony, y'all. . .
When they decided to adopt Zola they ditched Callie and Arizon's wedding to go to the court house and officially get married so they could check someting off the adoption to do list.

Well shit. That must have happened in the few years I stopped watching it after I couldn't take that musical theater episode.

Would have made for a good storyline though. :)

That was the most horrible episode EVER.  I love music and that was just...  Words escape me with that one.

  • So I finally caught up and it broke me. Now I have one more character who will make me cry when I watch reruns.

Also, I completely agree the musical episode is the most insufrable thing ever. I occasionally binge watch Grey's from the beginning, but I have honestly only watched that episode the first time it aired. It's the only one I skip each time.

  • I cried when Doc the dog died.
  • I finally watched the episode today and got almost teary-eyed even though I knew what happened. I think the song they played while they did the flashback of their relationship did me in

That song also was in the episode Denny died.  I love that song...

Ok that's what I thought, that it was the Denny song too, but I wasn't sure!
  • So, I don't watch this show. But with all the hype I decided to watch the last two episodes.

Why the hell did Derek stop in the middle of turning around? I mean I know it's a show, but he just witnessed this major accident on that dangerous road and he decides to stop in the middle of the road. It makes no sense. Usually, when something like that happens, you would be more cautious. I know the phone was ringing, but come on.

I know, it's a tv show. People do dumb things.

The thing that bugs me more than him stupidly stopping in the middle of the road to answer the phone is: Why the hell was his phone ringing in the first place?  They made it very clear that there was no phone signal out there.  At the beginning of the show, his phone lost signal before he got to that area.  Then when everyone was laying there hurt after the accident, they mentioned a few times that there was no phone signal so they couldn't call for help.  But, the phone signal suddenly returns just in time to kill Derrick?  I don't buy it.

  • So the rest of the hospital finds out tonight that Derek's dead. Do you think Addison or Christina will come back for an episode?

I read something that said they do NOT come back.

  • I think Christina will make an appearance.

    I killed derek Shepherd

  • I feel like these people need to get better at checking on each other. When the plane crashed it took forever for them to realize. With Derek they realized he meet made it to DC but decided no biggie ill wait until the end of the day to check in.

If they had been a little more concerned thy could have found him and made it to the hospital in time to save him.

And that reasoning right there is why I make my DH text me when he makes it to work after his hour commute of 50 some odd miles each day. Because if he is lying in a ditch somewhere I want to know something is wrong and to start looking for him at 8:00 am rather than 6:00 pm when I am wondering why he isn't home yet.

Here's what I found on one site regarding Christina returning:

"ANYWAY, sorry, as for what”s ahead on Grey”s, we know that this week is the funeral episode, and none of the notable former cast members who have moved on (Sandra Oh) are expected to return, from what I”ve heard. Then, in the following weeks, ABC is now teasing that there will be an “unfathomable” and “catastrophic” “crisis” that will rock the hospital and the doct….I literally cannot even finish typing this sentence."

Now, I'm going to skip right over the part about past cast members not making an appearance to the part about the next few weeks having an unfathomable and catastrophic crisis?  What more can they do to these people?  I understand that you need to keep drama in the show, but really?  I'm guessing that Meredith leaves Seattle to visit Christina in Switzerland (they've already alluded to her leaving Seattle in the previews), but her plane gets hijacked and Meredith and the kids are held hostage by ISIS.

  • I like Ellen Pompeo, but I think I'm done with this show. I sort of forced myself to keep up with it this season, but it's been boring. None of  the remaining characters interest me.

That's kind of where I am. I was already having a hard enough time with Christina not being around, but they lost me with redoing the Lexi story line with a new sister. I was 2 months behind when this thread started an had to go binge watch to catch up to say goodbye to McDreamy.

  • Who watched las tnight? I feel like I should have anticipated the big surprise, but I didn't. I think there may be a Meredith/Alex romance in the pipeline. Might as well, the Alex/Jo thing is flat.

Someone called part of the big surprise, but I didn't think the 2 hours would cover a year.  I thought they were going to kill off April and/or Owen at one point.  I'm glad they didn't.

  • There are still 2 shows to go so they might kill them off.
