We knew we’d have a lot of vibrant colors at our wedding (my husband’s Indian), so I wanted more than white. While there are a fair number of gold gowns out there, many were too brassy/black-gold or sequin-tastic for my taste. This Herve Leger gown was the perfect balance of elegance and style – ah, the mastery of Parisian designers! The gown has beautiful movement (you can see a video on Neiman Marcus), fits like a glove and was a dream to wear. I think my favorite compliment was, ‘Your dress is stunning. I literally said ‘oh wow’ out loud, when you walked out :-)
Gown is a size small, which Herve Leger says is a size 4, but fit me (size 6) perfectly. No alterations, and cleaned following manufacturer's instructions right after the wedding. I only wore it for about four hours (ceremony and cocktail hour), before changing into a family sari for dinner and dancing. If interested, email me at aroraadamson@gmail.com.
