Cruise wedding

If you think I am special enough to be invited to pay thousands of pounds (or dollars) to celebrate you on vacation but not special enough for you to pay some apps, drinks and for me to ACTUALLY see you get married, I would be reevaluating my relationship with you. It's flat out rude. If you didn't spend your money on a cruise you do realise you could host all these people with a lovely cake and punch wedding at home, but your cruise wedding 'vision' is more important. So having them there can't be that crucial or you would have never considered this option. It's fine to have it, but at least own the fact that you are choosing a cruise holiday/wedding over having these people at your wedding. Don't insult them further by inviting them to honeymoon with you.
