Between the ceremony and the reception

I'm getting married at St Louis Cathedral and the reception will be at Maison Dupuy. There will be 2 hours between the ceremony and the reception. I would like to take pictures after the ceremony outside the church and would also like to do a second line to the reception.

My question is... has anybody sent their guests to a bar nearby to get pre-arranged drinks while the wedding party is taking photos?

I'm thinking the bar could be the starting point for the second line. Anybody have any good suggestions for bars close to St Louis Cathedral?

Thanks for this question! Our wedding is in November and we are having to push our ceremony time back to 4pm due to the time change and sunlight preservation. Our reception is not scheduled to start until 7pm however so I'm in the same predicament. I'd love to hear some suggestions too!
