Chayo at the LINQ??

Anyone been there for any parties/receptions?  Anyone have their reception there?  This is a possibility for us, but their minimum is fairly high, and I just want to know if its worth it.  Other places I am thinking about are Trevi and Border Grill.  Our ceremony is at Caesar's and we're wanting to stick as close to there as possible, as to not have to pay for transportation somewhere else.  Otherwise, Firefly, Maggiano's and a couple others were on our list...

Thanks!

  • I reached out to them and they were horrible with communication. There minimum was crazy high and I have read/heard the food is just meh. I would check out Trevi or Joe's.

  • I have checked out Trevi, but can't get the view of the fountain for the whole 2hrs because of another group coming in an hour after our reception is to start.  And there really is no option to do much dancing there.  Joe's unfortunately was booked on my date :-(

Where else have you looked into??

  • What about Magianno's? It's a 15 minute walk but Plaintum has reception only packages.

  • Maggiano's isn't available for my date unfortunately.  Carmine's is another option, but $3800 minimum.
  • We just came back from touring venues in Vegas and we loved Border Grill in the Forum shops!  The private space is in the back of the restaurant and it has a door so you are enclosed.  It also has a private bar and a private restroom.  You can enter through the front door of the forum shops so you don't actually have to walk through the mall unless you want to.  The service/response we've gotten from Christina (the sales manager) has been phenomenal as well.

Trevi was located inside the forum shops and IMO was loud.  Maybe it is quieter deep inside but we did not go in after we seeing/hearing how busy it is around the restaurant.

I'm a TX bride too so I feel your pain on planning long distance.  FWIW, seeing the places in person made a world of difference.
  • Yes, Christina has been awesome!!  So glad that you liked BG because I have never been there; doing this sight unseen!  We are going with BG for sure :-)  Thank you!
