I also totally agree about a giant NEY meetup. I am so excited to meet @jenna8984 @phira and @lavenderfields13! We will miss you @caseface5.

After the GTG I might tour some venues. FI are thinking of getting married in January so some quick decisions will have to be made. Any venue suggestions in MA are appreciated.

Sunday FI is off and I'd like to go to the beach.

Oh and @lavenderfields13 good luck with LHR! I just had my 2nd yesterday. It's so fast and I'm seeing great results already.

Got a busy weekend ahead of me!  First, I need to know where to get this Oreo coffee, @Swazzle.  I hope it's not a NE thing.

Tonight we're going to see Mary Poppins on stage with some friends.  Tomorrow we're hoeing the garden, cleaning and scrubbing the pantry (stupid pantry bugs) and doing some home improvement stuff.

Oh also....I don't want to ruffle any feathers but @Swazzle - I tried the Oreo coffee and didn't care for it. It was just coffee with chocolate syrup in it.

@jenjen047 - I agree, it basically tastes like chocolate but there's a faint Oreo taste IMO. Mocha coffee is my favorite so that's probably why I like the Oreo so much. I get mine with milk which tames the sweetness a bit too.

@minskat30 I can't believe it either! I seriously feel like this pregnancy is flying by! I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's Pyr. That's so sad. I'm giving Maddux all the hugs for her pups.

Happy Friday everyone! I can't wait to meet all the tri-state(?) east coast ladies.  We should plan a girls vacation so all of NEY can meet.

@minskat30 sending hugs your way and to your friend.  We had a similar situation happen with my childhood dog.  We got a puppy so the older dog could train her.  The puppy ended up needing extensive surgery and didn't make it past a year and the older dog died four months later.  -- Also good luck with the inspection, maybe they'll send an alternate guy instead of the PITA.

@untouchablets everyone else gave great advice, but it sounds like you definitely need to take in more calories because you're burning so much.  

@jenna8984 I hate days when the office is empty and you feel like you're on an island of isolation; hopefully it goes by fast for you

@southernpeach89 I'm so glad they showed up yesterday! Hopefully they call sooner than a week.  The waiting is the worst part.

@swazzle the oreo coffees and coolattas are pretty amazing though.

@hummingbird125 that's horrible! Maybe ask your neighbors to see if anyone saw anything?

Last night we brought Callie to the house so she could explore.  She loved it.  Now I know she'll be comfortable with the change, which is a huge weight off my shoulders.  Here she is hanging out in the master bedroom.

Tonight I need to go to the driving range.  I'm participating in a work golf outing tomorrow and haven't played all summer.  Oh, and they have me going first.  So tomorrow is golf all day.  Not sure what else is going on this weekend.

@southernpeach89 I'm so glad Home Depot finally came out to measure! I hope you don't have to pull a bunch of teeth to get them to actually come out and install everything next week. Also, YAY for the hospital tour! Callie will be here so soon!

@untouchablets I would try adding snacks in every few hours, even if it's just a handful of almonds in between customers. 

@jenjen047 Aww please AW your venue once you book it! Any particular reason why you guys are thinking of January? I went to a New Year's Eve wedding a few years ago and had a ton of fun. It was awesome! I know it's technically in December, but thought I'd throw the idea out there just in case.

I had really bad acid reflux for some reason last night, so I went to bed early and skipped my workout and my dinner. FI and I started coordinating everyone's schedules to purchase/rent suits later this month, and we also tried to plan our weekend in Beaumont with his parents next month. He was so stressed by the constant texting and scheduling that he ended up handing his phone to me and told me to respond to everyone... I guess he finally got a taste of what I've been doing for the past year lol.

No huge plans for the weekend, which is really exciting. We really need to clean the apartment, and I want to binge the rest of Orange is the New Black. On Sunday I'm going to brunch with my MOH and one of the BMs because they want to talk about potential plans for my bachelorette next month, and then afterwards I'm going to David's Bridal with the BM to pick out a flower girl dress for her daughter. I don't see either of them very often, so I'm really excited to spend time with them on Sunday. 

Blah, I have no motivation to work today. Is it 4:30 yet?

@jenjen047 my best friend got married at the Newton Marriott.  She said it was a lot cheaper than going into Boston, and since it's on the Charles you still get a gorgeous view.

Thanks everyone, her dogs are just so freaking wonderful so I feel so sad for her.  

@speakeasy14 - There are only two inspectors in the city I live in and once one gets "assigned" to a house he is always the one to do the inspection.  Sucks that we got the PITA but fingers crossed.

@eilis1228 acid reflux sucks so hard! I'm not sure if it's better, but when I have acid reflux I try chocolate milk first. Something about sipping it slowly helps me

Still drama with bank. I have no idea what is happening, but hoping to get it settled tomorrow in person.

Last night did groceries at Costco, and spent the evening setting up favour stuff and watching Sense8

Tonight I'm doing other groceries, continuing Sense8 and finishing up favours.

We have an appt with our venue tomorrow to go over specifics before we need to pay, and since Matt is going out {originally his bachelor party but now prob just a movie with a couple guys} my mum is coming over to watch "Gone Girl" and help me with centerpieces.

Sunday ..... nothing. Probably just cleaning. I'm trying to clear out our spare room to use the green machine on it next Thursday.

@twodimes well at least Indy quickly learned that it was walk and not play time.  I'm sure after a few more walks she'll be perfect.  Fingers crossed everything goes to plan so you can get a fence!

I'm exhausted this morning. I went to a Rockies v. Braves game last night with my mom, brother, and his girlfriend. There was a 2.5 hour rain delay so the game didn't even start until 9. We left at the bottom of the 7th because the lightrail stops running earlier in the night on Thursdays, missed one by 5 minutes and realized the next one didn't come for an hour! I was not happy. We are going to another game tonight but hopefully it won't rain.

My boss just told me I have to do a working lunch today which is frustrating because I really needed to grab coffee during my lunch break. I think they are firing someone so my boss, who was supposed to be helping out here today because my co-worker is out, has to go to a different branch.

@bethsmiles that sounds terrible! Can they force you to work on your lunch? I thought unpaid breaks were required after a certain number of hours (in NY its six) and you can't be forced to work like that unless you're salaried. Your job sounds like a train wreck, I hope you find a new one soon!

@southernpeach89 holy moly a hospital tour! I can't even imagine. Here are all the needles...haha, I imagine they just pretend that doesn't exist? do you check in at a different place or go to the ER? I think that's an important question lol. I don't know how to have a kid obvies!

@Blue&White LOL! I think we check in at the Maternity Ward which is separate from the "general" hospital. It's a separate building purely devoted to Women's Health. If something happens and I need to get emergency attention, I'm sure I will be brought to either the emergency room or the Maternity Ward depending on what's happening. We shall see.

@lavenderfields13 - Running in the rain at 6 in the morning is the bomb! Then again, I'm super into rain. What makes you feel unsafe?

As of today, we are homeowners!! AHHHH, I'm so excited! The realty website still has it listed as "pending" though, so I'll probably be checking in on that throughout the day, haha.

Last night I finally washed all the 4th of July debris off my car. I also made a loaf of banana bread and managed to save four bananas (usually only have two or so) and the bread is AWESOME! ...... Then we started watching Tusk. I have a feeling I'm going to love this movie. I truly can't wait to finish it.

This morning was a rough start. I made it to work all early after a really good run with the pup, stopped at Jamba Juice, drove into the parking lot and immediately left because I realized I left my laptop at home. Then I got back to work, climbed the 3 flights of stairs to my office, then was locked out because I left my badge and breakfast in the car. It's gonna be one of those days.

Because we're moving, the owner of the house we're currently renting is replacing the roof this weekend. BF is working both days, but that means I don't get to sleep in either because they'll probably be starting the work around 5 or 6 tomorrow. The dog will be freaking out. No bueno. I'm hoping to do a bunch of packing, and make some zucchini bread.

@alpacina Congrats on being a homeowner!! I feel like that happened SO fast.

Well first, I don't really run- walking with jogging intervals because running is HARD haha. Second, I have Nike FlyKnit sneakers which I'm pretty sure aren't supposed to get wet. Third,  I don't feel safe being alone on the street when most people are still sleeping and the sun isn't quite up yet, I've got earbuds in and I don't live in the safest place.

@lavenderfields13 - I understand. I don't use earbuds, and I definitely feel safer having my dog (even if he is harmless). My BF makes fun of me because in the winter I get super decked out with a headlamp, reflective vest, and neon clothes, but I run in the dark, and part of my run is next to a street with no sidewalks and crazy drivers. I also carry pepper spray. So far the worst I've encountered was a bulldog that kept trying to hump my dog and wouldn't stop following us. I'd try to pull my dog away, but he kept pulling against me because he wanted to play, haha!

*sigh* FI and I figured out that if we want to move to San Francisco, we'd need to make $100k more per year to have the equivalent quality of life that we do here in Tejas. Whomp whomp.

@mrsspence87 I have heard that milk help with acid reflux, but I'm not a huge milk drinker. Thanks for the tip though!
