What do you think of these rings?

I've been on the hunt for a ring at could be a 1 stop shop combo engagement and wedding band to save money and then not have to deal with whether or not I should get my rings soldered together or not etc.

What do you think of them based on what I'm looking for? These are just 2 of them that I've found so far.

I like the first ring better, the pink one could be mistaken for something other than an engagement/ wedding ring. The first one looks like what I think you are trying to describe; like an engagement ring between a split wedding band.

Look at the second one in rose gold. It's to die for.

I think you defiantly get better quality with the moissanite the first one is just a cz, they wont hold up over time. But I'm not sure what you are describing? Do you want a ring that looks like it has a wedding band or a wedding set?

CZ is just one option for the TwoBirch one. If I got it, I’d get moissanite.

I would warn you about CZ.  It will absorb oils and lotions over time and turn cloudy.  It looks good for a while, but it isn't something you should plan to wear often.

Like I said in my above post, CZ is just one option, and if I got that ring I'd get moissanite.

Oh okay. They are both pretty!
If you get a moissanite get a charles and colvard forever brilliant. They really are WAY whiter than a normal one. Fancy cut moissanites are more yellow than rounds even if they are forever brilliant. 

I believe you said in another post you are a nurse. Ideally you will want something where the center stone is bezel set and the accents are channel set that will be the most durable,out-of-the-way style.

Yes, I am in nursing school -- have one more semester/will be done in December! I'm definitely looking for something that won't get in the way which is why I'm primarily looking at bezel/channel set, but I'm not going to rule out others as long as they're low profile etc.

Congrats! How exciting! Yes just beware of the micro pave style even if it sits low. They are notoriously fragile because of all of the tiny prongs, and expensive to fix, because of all the tiny prongs!
 (  I work in a jewelry store that does onsite repairs I'm not just pretending to be a know it all    )

Another thing I've been looking at today is simple solitaires and ring guards. I feel like that might be a viable, and cost effective option for me.

I like the solitaire with the ring guards as well. It's a nice look. That way, if you wanted, you could still use the guards as your wedding bands, and either wear them or not before the ceremony.

Looking at rings online is tough because you really need to try it on your finger so you will not be surprised when it arrives.  Go to a jewelry shop and try rings on that you like.  Not the cut, stone size, and  setting.  Then, maybe go online to shop.  

(I like the first one.)

Moissanite is superior to CZ in almost every way (price is about the only thing it loses on I think). It's harder than diamonds, just as reflective as diamonds, and costs less than diamonds.

Moissanite is definitely a hard stone, but it's not harder than diamond. Diamonds are a 10 on the Mohs scale, while moissanite is a 9.25. Still a great alternative, and a beautiful stone, just not quite harder.

I like the pink one.... but I'm probably a bit biased because mine is a blue diamond with a white diamond halo and split band with diamonds.

I like the color because it suits my personality (I love bright colors and I am a bit on the non-traditional side)
