Accessory suggestions?

Hello all,
What are your thoughts on accessorizing this dress?

Just some background info .. I am wearing my hair half up, half down and to the side - I have very long dark hair. Not sure if that type of hairstyle would even look good with a veil - but I do love the idea. I have tried googling the style shown with a veil .. to no a"veil" (see what I did there) (too much coffee).

I also have a half sleeve super colorful tattoo of a peacock on my left arm, and some shaded stars falling down my right shoulder down my back to my thigh. The dress is a lower cut in the back, so you can see quite a few of the stars.

My question is - with my tattoos, the dress beading and design, and my hair to the side would you accessorize at all? I feel like it would be better to keep it simple - some pretty simple drop earrings etc., but I have some people telling me to bling it up. I don't want to look "busy"!

Thoughts?

I would probably do a simple bracelet, stud earrings and a hair accessory of your choosing.  No necklace.  Many times I take cues from the designer model photos as to what accessories would be best because they use the accessories to help highlight the dress.

Here is a pick I found of a half-up and to the side hair style with a veil... CLICK

I think a veil would look great with your chosen hairstyle.  I would definitely stick with a very simple veil though so it doesn't overwhelm your gorgeous dress.

I agree with @Maggie0829. That dress is absolutely gorgeous, so any accessories you choose should be pretty simple.

ETA I am a huge fan of tattoos... So in my opinion I wouldn't want to over accessorize so those can be featured as well :)

@Maggie0829 and @becklertobe .. thank you ladies very much, you hit the nail on the head and Maggie YES that picture is exactly what I am going for! It looks great with a veil. Very soft and simple and pretty. Love it!

Tattoos are a GREAT accessory IMO! :)

Your dress is drop dead gorgeous!!

I think a simple bracelet, and stud earrings would most likely be all I would do. The dress is a showpiece, and you want to let it speak for itself.

I also love that you are showing your tattoos - I definitely don't think they will distract from the dress. They are you, and you need to be yourself on your wedding day!!

In addition, the picture shown of the dress is without a belt - I love the dress like this, and I feel like a belt might almost be too much.

That dress is too die for! I agree with PPs. Simple bracelet and ear rings, no necklace. A simple veil. Your tattoos are a beautiful and unique accessory, you don't want to distract from those.

I think what you're describing would look fantastic with a french-style birdcage veil. Maybe something like this?

Or if you do decide for a "busier" look i think this could be a fun choice:

For jewelry I think the idea of a simple pair of drop earnings with a matching necklace and bracelet sounds lovely. You don't want to distract from the dress or your body art.

Another vote for the earrings and a nice bracelet. I think the hairstyle you plan to wear will look great with the dress and if you wanted to, a simple veil would look lovely for the ceremony. Maybe have a fun hair accessory that you can add for the reception if you want to change it up a little for "party time"

A hair accessory probably as in the pic, nice earrings. Nothing else is actually required. The dress is super awesome. :)

What style makeup are you doing?  That may affect the accessories.  For instance if you are going retro a birdcage would make sense.  But, if you are going 1920s then you'd chose something completely different.

I have 2 full sleeves of tattoos and spent forever trying to find a dress that worked.
