NWR: Let's Go Cubs

Ladies: I've got a major case of Cubbie fever. I've been a fan all my life, but that just means I've been a disappointed fan the majority of the time. I've been lucky enough to have gone to several games this year, but last nights was the best! I've been trying really hard not getting too swept up in the season (since it usually ends in sadness) but I can't help it! I can's imagine what Chicago will look like if/when the Cubs win the World series.....I just hope I'm a round to see it.

Also, have you seen the deliciousness that is Kris Bryant!! talk about some  eye candy

As someone who lives a stone's throw from Wrigley Field, I will be barring my door, my windows, and fleeing to my parents' home in the far flung exurbs if it seems the Cubs will win the WS.

I am SO EXCITED!  For once it's not torture being a Cubs fan!  So happy for the year they've had!  Even if they don't make it to the WS I will be pleased with what they've done.

I'm a Braves fan so I haven't been able to get really excited in forever. I like to pull for the cubs because they're the underdog a lot of the time and have a good history.

Yankees fan here as well. I almost cried last night when I thought they were going to lose to the Jays. I have a feeling tonight will be even worse in terms of anxiety levels.

In forever?  It's only been 20 years; lots of people on this site have been alive longer than that- ha ha!  Cubbie fans have been waiting since 1908!

Not much a baseball fan, but I do love the Wrigleyville atmosphere so I'm all for this.  i just wish they could improve on the stadium food.

I am a Red Sox fan too, but if I had to choose an National League team to root for, I would always choose the Cubs. Plus, this!

Yes, but considering I'm 24 that is almost my whole life considering I don't really remember when they won the Pennant in '95 (or '57 or '14 obviously).
