Tipping

How do you go about tipping when someone owns their own company? For example, my photographers are a husband and wife team and no one else. If i am paying, say $4,000 for them, do i give them a tip also?

Also, my DJ is Dash of Class and they are all considered "owners" Do i tip them? I realize it's a little different of a situation than the photographer.

I tipped all of my vendors, but none of mine owned their own companies.

I have read on here that owners of their companies you don't have to tip, but others you should.  I could be wrong, thought.

Hopefully other knotties will be able to help out here.

Honestly?  I tipped everyone...  my photographer was the owner of his business, as was my DJ.  But I was just so thrilled with their services, that why not?  I didn't break the bank, just a little something extra to serve as a special thank you.

If you have the budget, and you're thrilled with them, why not?  But of course, I don't think owners expect tips, so if you don't, I think you're fine as well.

I will be tipping everyone, owner or not.
