I don't really even know what day it is, but...I'm baaaaaack!  I have read all of today's posts but am going to spend the next little bit reading the rest from when I've been gone.

Well.  Almost.  Sitting in the airport waiting for my last connection.  I have been awake for 37 hours and I just want to get home to my shower and my bed.

Istanbul was AMAZING.  I couldn't have asked for a better week with BF.  I'll do a big AW recap post with lots of pictures, but I just got these so here's a sneak peak.  We used Flytographer to get professional pics taken while we were there and it was the best decision of the whole trip.  One of my favorites:

@TwoDimes - Yeah for "cool aunt" status!  You will be the cool aunt.    One week!!!  Is your sister all ready?  How much time will you take off?  Are you going to be in the hospital when your sister goes into labor?  Labor room?  

I know everyone feels differently about who is in the labor room and most people just have their H in there with them but I will say (I was in there when my sister gave birth) that watching my nephew come into this world = an amazing experience I will never forget.  Watching a baby come out of my sister's vagina = also something I will never forget and sometimes wish I could.    Kidding...sort of.



This is completely childish and stupid and I may change my mind about this down the road but, for now, I told H when the time comes to just focus on my chest and above when he's in there with me and I'll return the favor for my sister by giving her the image of a child coming out of my neither regions.

I know @TwoDimes and I'm sure I won't care in the moment if H wants to watch our kiddo come out of my vagina.    You are going to be a great aunt and I'm very excited for you!

@TwoDimes @minskat30 My sister was totally anti anyone in the room except her H. We all ended up getting to make some short visits cause the whole process was long and boring and not a whole ton was happening at the time. If she has gotten to push though none of us would have definitely been in there!

@TwoDimes I hope your little nephew comes soon!! Is the due date in a week or is your sister scheduled for an induction or something?

@TwoDimes and @minskat30 - I doubt any of us will even care what our H's are doing at that moment in time... just get that thing outta there!!!

I thought about going the doula route, but I figure that my H got me into this mess so he can be the one to labor with me through it.  Still best wife of the year?  I'm almost positive I'll be cussing him out the whole time...  WHOSE IDEA WAS THIS ANYWAY?!?!?!
