I think we all just need to let it out. Flame me if you must! I'll still love you at the end of the day.

I'm judging everyone willing to talk shit about NEY but not actually tag the people they're referring to. We aren't one entity and we all have our individual opinions and thoughts. JFC, if I'm gonna say so and so had an asinine post, then at least I'll respond in thread and say "Hey, I think that's being sort of asinine."

I'm judging my friend's sister. They bought a Porsche last year I think and she's been AWing all the parties they get invited to now as "Porsche customers". Whoop ti freaking do.

I confess that I got way too wrapped up in drama this week and need to remember this is just a message board that all my best franz also happen to chat on.

I confess I definitely screamed at and/or cussed out at least 3 cars on my commutes to and from work yesterday. Someone needs a chill pill.

I'm judging all the OPs who make newbie posts on NEY and ask questions and get really nice, thought out answers from a whole bunch of people and then never come back to respond. Unless your post gets hijacked....then maybe I kind of understand.

I confess I'm ready to strangle my H because he thinks he knows better than his doctor but I have yet to see his doctor-sized paycheck.

I missed all the drama you guys are referring to, but I wish I didn't!

I have been in a super judgy mood lately, and have been easily irritated. When my hormones are out of whack, it takes Herculean effort to not just speak my mind and basically tell everyone to fuck off, all the time. Here are a few off the top of my head:

Judge: The girl on the train this morning who was FaceTiming with her boyfriend (I assume), who happened to BE NAKED. I did not need to see his (unimpressive) shlong near as she waved her iPhone about next to me.

II: The voicemail indicator light on my work phone is malfunctioning, so it ALWAYS says I have a message. Now I have to check my phone a zillion times a day, mostly just to be told I don't have any actual messages.

Confession: I'm usually happy if a friend cancels plans on me. It's not that I don't want to see them (usually), but it just takes a lot of effort to pretend I feel OK, and if I can lay in my bed instead, I'm psyched.

Judge: Basically every single Boston driver lately. I know they're always bad, but lately they seem ESPECIALLY bad. I am a conscientious, assertive driver, but I've almost been hit several times this week by people doing totally illegal things. It makes my blood absolutely boil.

I have no idea if this is UO or popular: I pressed "Love It" on @labro's request for the "NEY's got this" gif, and the gif itself, because I saw it as a NEY PRIDE! sort of thing, not a jab at anyone else to leave. And the fact that it was taken that way was just a way to spur drama by the offended person, IMO, and I JUDGE the hell out of that. I rolled my eyes SO HARD.

ETA: Not to mention the whole "I get it! I'm out of here!" and yet still posted again later.

Not any particular category: The last couple of days have been entertaining as hell. I'm staying out of it because IDGAF who posts where. If I don't like someone I don't have to respond to them. That's my right. But the one thing I am sure of is that I love the hell out of every single one of you, and I'm on this board because you have proven yourselves to be amazing friends to me time and time again.

I have a friend who is super competitive about everything in life. One of the latest: We hadn't seen each other in six weeks or so because of conflicting schedules, and the first thing she says to me when I walk in is "Oh my god, you are losing so much weight. You need to stop. You canNOT be skinnier than I am at my wedding." The topic of my weight came up another three times in the hour and a half we were together. She wanted to know the number on the scale. Then she wanted to know if I was really going to stop losing weight because "did I really want to be a twig?" Then she said again that I shouldn't be skinnier than her at her wedding. I tried to bean dip every time, but it was ridiculous and made me SO ANGRY. Also angry at myself for not being more direct and telling her it was making me that upset.

I judge the hell out of my one male, white 50-something co-worker who thinks pregnancy is just like "any other short term disability" and thinks "women should be fine with a little over a month leave at reduced pay for popping out a kid because that's generous" and thinks "you should be happy companies have come this far, we used to fire people for getting pregnant".  So much anger is still radiating from me.  

I judge myself for looking like a fish out of water when above-comments were made, among others.  All I could get out was "pregnancy isn't like short-term disability at all...plus pregnancy only impacts women, I don't think other disabilities or even cancer discriminates quite like pregnancy" and, as he continued, I think I got out "well that sounds an awful lot like discrimination to me" but that's it.  Nothing else about the U.S. being the only developed nation without a paid maternity leave, the studies that have shown that maternity leave is actually profitable to corporations in the long-run (due to retention/re-training/moral reasons, among others), etc., etc.  I also wish I would have stood up to leave if I couldn't get anything else other than sputters of indignation out of my damn mouth. Actually I wish I would have stood up to leave, splashed water in his face and then waltzed my semi-big ol' bellied self out.

@alpacina I agree, I didn't see that gif as a stab at anyone. I was surprised it was taken that way.

So I share your UO or PO, not sure where everyone stands.

UO?: I don't care who posts where, though I would rather get to know people rather than see a random blurb once in a blue moon.

Judge: Anyone who was legit offended at all that drama. I saw it as entertaining/comedic. Not sure who to tag since I don't know who was actually pissed vs who was being sarcastic about it. I like sarcasm.

Judge: People who take their 2wd car out in the snow and spin all over the place. Stay the fuck home. The dangerous part about the roads where I'm at was all the stuck cars STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. Which BLOCKS plows/salt trucks and emergency vehicles.

II: When I have the perfect gif in mind and it doesn't exist yet, and I'm too lazy to make one.

I confess that I have FTM syndrome and waste my money on silly things that I probably don't need. Oh well I will know better when we have baby #2.

I get irrationally irritated at people when they make comments on Callie's petite size. Yea she isn't as chubby as your cousin's sister's baby but that doesn't mean she is unhealthy. I will side eye the shit out of you the next time you say, "Wow I thought she was a newborn" or you ask me "is she eating enough?!?" when she is actually almost 4 months old and consumes all her meals if not more.

I accept all flames for my pot stirring antics. UO - I just think that shit is hilarious that people are genuinely offended and I really can't help myself. Perhaps, you might say, "You're an adult, Sarah. Act like one." But I just don't want to. Cause its funny. And pot stirring. And the word fuck. Meh.

UO or PO, depending on who you are: I too don't care who posts where, but also share the "but get to know us and share on other posts and occasionally the daily thread" feeling. I guess I'm a fence rider and I'm ok with that.

IJ: The unbalanced use of KG powers and application of rules. I also judge some of the rules themselves, cause I think they're lame.

@labro remember that thread where that one random poster asked all those questions about pre-planning her wedding and you answered with all those ridiculous answers and gifs. I think I reread that one at least 15 times and died each time. I know it's against TOS to link but please please please find it again!!!

Confession I : My cousin said that her and the kids can't go out tonight so I texted that to BF and explained I was happy that we would get a date night, just the two of us, because I don't remember the last time we did that. He responded "At least we won't be out late because of the pup." Not the reaction I was looking for. It hurt, to be honest.

Confession II: I can't WAIT for the Chicago GTG. When I first joined TK years ago, I went to a local GTG, but had just gotten a new job and wasn't on TK as much. I feel like because of that, I was very quiet and shy, and I think that might have been taken the wrong way? So I am looking at this GTG as a re-do and hoping it goes better and that people can see the true me.

I judge: People who do things for their kids when they should be having their kids do things. I just got a call from a parent about their child (an employee of ours) not getting paid. I suggested she have the child (the employee herself) give me a call so we could discuss. She isn't going to learn anything if you do it for her!!

UO: I want this snow to come. I am all out of vacation days due to my team going to Nationals and if we got a snow day, I'd get another in place of it, since I have to work to process the payroll. Bring on the snow!!

@caseface5 I judge adult children who have their parents make phone calls or do things for them. A former coworker still had his mom call to make his doctor appointments.

Confession: Totally not sorry for making that gif that was based off reactions from a previous thread, and 100% meant to be humorous.  In no way was I saying go away, or don't post here.  I did have a toddler smiling with a thumbs up, but I thought the eye rolls were hilarious.  And I'd do it again.




UO (well guess popular):  All the pot stirring and drama is entertaining, and has made my week.  The reason I initially stuck around TK after lurking for over a year, was because of the drama.   Pretty sure my first post in NEY was commenting how hilarious this group was in their response to a BSC post. 

Confession: I lurk a lot of the other boards, for the sole point of reading all the BSC posts. I very rarely have chimed in because usually it is more entertaining to just read all the drama. I read, like a few comments, and move on.

I judge my sister for thinking people will want to come to my niece's 4-year birthday party at the same time as the Superbowl.

I'm really not too surprised she's trying this though because she does something to celebrate each of my nieces' "month birthdays" as well (another I judge). To be fair, that sunday is my niece's actual birthday, but the party still probably should have been shifted. And to clarify, the month birthday celebrations stay within their family of four. But I still judge it.

Oh God this is the worst confession.

I was checking @PrettyGirlLost 's wedding date and I seriously questioned for a second whether I was actually married on October 18th, 2014. So I just went back in the calendar to check......



ETA: In case you were wondering....it was our wedding date.
