Good day! Today WILL be better than yesterday. I demand it. 

I drove home from work last night which was much smoother than my drive to work in the morning. I made HC herbes de provence pork tenderloin which was incredible (seriously, my HC meals from this past delivery were absolutely amazing). And I cracked open a bottle of wine which I eventually finished while bingeing on Downton Abbey.



There was even a brief FT with @audrewuh and @eilis1228 until my phone died! 

I had to drive to work again today because 1 of 2 of my trains is still suspended. Traffic was a nightmare compared to yesterday but before turning into my office garage, I had this view: 



And the office Keurig is working again! 

I'm hoping work is quiet so I can continue with DA and tonight I'll head home, cook, eat, watch something with H and head to bed.

I am super annoyed because for the last like 3 weeks my computer has had me logged out of tk and won't log me back in! My username and password is right, but every time I go to reply it logs be back out. Knotting from my phone is hard and I can't keep up with you all!

Yesterday was a successful day not going anywhere. I caught up on my late school assignments and finally finished season one of PLL. It was seriously the longest season in the world. I like it so far

Today is FINALLY the start of my dog training classes. I had to reschedule all of my other ones from the weekend because of the blizzard. I'm very excited! I've got to write up a potty training protocol sheet before class starts because I am positive that's gonna be the only thing my puppy parents are gonna want to learn and I can't waste time during every class answering questions about it. This should make it much easier for everyone as long as they follow the steps. I also have to prepare some stuff for my adult classes but they're not till the weekend so I have a couple days.

Tonight, I finally get to see BF. Our roads have been terrible so we haven't been hanging out and I miss him. I was supposed to go to his house Sunday but me getting stuck in the snow for an hour threw a wrench in things lol

We have bookclub tonight. I was supposed to read All the Light We Cannot See but I've been the worst bookclub member ever and never got around to it. I feel awful because I know it was a really good book. I just need to buy it on my Kindle and read it and next month's book before the next meeting. Anyway, I hope this restaurant we're going to is good...the last time I was there was I think 4 years ago for a friend's bachelorette. I had a dish and got horribly ill afterwards and I'm not sure if it was because the shrimp possibly wasn't deveined or if there was another issue. But it's been 4 years so I guess I'm willing to give them another chance (and not order another shrimp dish).

@Swazzle Glad your venture home and in today was much better. 

Last night was not good for me. My neck has been bothering me so I sat with some Icy-Hot for a little bit when I got home, but it kept falling off so I decided to get up and do Zumba. I got a few minutes in and had to run to the bathroom. Apparently my stomach is still not up to par. So I was bummed. I sat on the couch the rest of the night and started watching NCIS on Netflix.

I am hoping that I am able to get Zumba in tonight. I also have to call my Dr to get a referral for a new Gastro because mine doesn't work anymore. Hopefully I can get in and find out what the hell is going on. My Stitch Fix should be there when I get home so I get to try on pretty things too!

Hi! Yestersday I worked from home and had my ultrasound at noon. It went awesome, and was so freaking cool to see! Everything looking and measuring great. Called my grandparents last night and told them, and some more friends, just told a coworker and she blabbed my ear off for 45 minutes about her delivery lol. Everyone we have told, we said no facebook. I'm more worried about like my brother running into someone and telling them and that person saying something online. I put as many security settings on my FB as possible, so people can't post on my wall and stuff, hopefully that's enough.

@labro - I started season 2 last night. I bought that book but I couldn't get into it. I heard really good things so maybe I'll give it another try. 

@caseface5 - I'm sorry you're still not feeling great  Yay for SF! Mine is still being styled and is supposed to arrive on Friday. 

@TwoDimes - Ain't nothing wrong with having your groceries delivered! I used FreshDirect a lot when H and I lived in our last apartment because we only had 1 car and he worked ridiculous hours. It was glorious. 

@jenna8984 - YAY for a successful appointment! So glad baby is doing well

@TwoDimes I love my bookclub too. It's nice to have a once a month thing where I have an excuse to go out to dinner, have a glass of wine, and hang out with a bunch of people I don't really see otherwise. Plus we read some really great books!!

Recipe PSA: I found THIS recipe for "banana pancake bites" this morning and I am SOOOOOOOOOO making them this weekend for the girls! 

You mix Bisquick mix, milk, and syrup then pour into a mini muffin tray and top with whatever you'd like! 

I'm going to do bananas in some, chocolate chips in some, and crumbled bacon in some. I want them in my face right now.

Yesterday was a long Monday at work. The kids were just so sleepy. I blame the snow. I made chicken sausage with veggie pasta last night and it was so good. Tonight looks like I'll have hw club going until 3:30 and then I'll make dinner at home, probably chicken with quinoa/veggies. Trying to keep it healthy in 2016.

I am sore today.  I got stuck at work late, so didn't make it to the last ski lesson. My bf just gave me a lesson instead.  After about an hour and a half my bad knee was throbbing (yay old injuries).  So I went to the bar while he went for a few runs on his snowboard. My mom was the manager on duty so I walked around with her for a little.  When they announced it was closing time my mom walked with us out. I love that I can hang out with her while she's at work.  After we left the mountain we went to the liquor store and I bought a bottle of bourbon, then came home and mixed it with apple cider.  The good news is I didn't fall, the bad news, I have to be cautious so I don't tear my knee.

Tonight going to my sister's for dinner and PLL night.  I'm supposed to go for a ski lesson after work tomorrow, but honestly waiting to see how bad my knee feels before I decide on that.  100% certain I really won't be skiing this weekend.

@speakeasy14 Be careful with that knee! I'd definitely give it a break if it's feeling sore and tender. Injuring it will be a much much longer recovery period than if you just go easy and don't push things. I do hope you get to ski this weekend...even if it's only for a little bit!

@speakeasy14 Do you get to use the mountain for free since your mom works there? H wanted to teach me snowboarding a few years ago but each time we went it was $50 per person and I didn't even use the lift or the trails, I was like crying on the bunny hill. So after like 3 times and a real lesson we said fuck this, too expensive. I really would have liked to have just gone to a hill somewhere and learned for free.

@labro - Ugh, bad seafood is the worst.  Pick something they can't screw up please...don't want you to get sick.  Also, what do you do at the bookclub when you haven't read the book?  Do you just listen to others talk about it while drinking wine?  Cause that sounds like my kind of bookclub.

@caseface5 - I hope you can get in and see what is going on...I'm sorry you are feeling so bad.

Full day at work here for me today and just hoping to hit the gym tonight after work and then go to the grocery store.  Yesterday I finished work, went to the gym and worked out, then came home and stuffed my face with all the food.  Oh well, the workout counts for something.  I tried on all the maternity clothes from my co-worker.  She gave me 8 pairs of maternity pants (including 3 jeans, 3 khaki and 2 work pants) and 5 maternity skirts!  Only one pair of pants didn't fit (one of the work pants unfortunately).  She is also bringing shirts today!!  I need to get her something to thank her...any ideas? 

ETA - I can't spell in the morning.

@minskat30 Welll now that she has had the baby you could get her a bottle of wine or something for her kid? Or both!

Usually our bookclub is like...60/40 with the 60 being chit chat/catching up and 40 being about the book and there are usually one or two other people there who haven't read the book as well. But sitting there and drinking wine is also acceptable!

@jenna8984 Yeah she gets 25 free day passes for the season, and I think 50 50% off passes.  And as long as she registers for the classes, I can get lessons for free.  

@labro and @minskat30 that's what I said! My bf said I should just tear it so I can get the surgery and not have to deal with a bum leg anymore.  We didn't speak for 5 minutes after that. 

@minskat30 hmmm do you know what she likes?  Maybe a spa basket?

@minskat30 - That's seriously SO nice of your coworker! What about a bottle of wine and some yummy snacks to go with it? Or a movie basket: a giftcard for the movies, some candy, maybe throw in microwavable popcorn for at home, etc.

When Callie is old enough to drink grape juice we will definitely be doing this while @southernpeach89 and I drink real wine and FT with all our friends!
