Good morning! 

I'm wearing no green today mainly because I don't own a lot of green and also because I overslept and had to grab the quickest thing I could find when getting dressed and that consisted of dark jeans, a black raglan sweater thing and boots. I have a separate alarm for Wednesdays so I remember to weigh in and when I went to bed, I turned on that one instead of my normal alarm. So I woke up late and rushed to get ready and I probably smell but what are you gonna do. It's like the 2nd time I've been late for work in 8.5 years and nobody even noticed. 

Last night, I made dinner (Trader Joe's chile lime chicken burgers with my guac and an arugula salad with lime shallot vinaigrette!) and then H's friends came over for our weekly Survivor viewing party. We watched and drank and then they headed out around 10:30. My Paula's Choice order arrived and Booj promptly claimed the box: 



Tonight I have a Devils game and it's the first one I'm going to in more than two weeks. I'm totally checked out of hockey at this point. H and I are grabbing dinner at an incredible deli by the arena and they better have corned beef because it's all I want in the world right now.

After I picked up Callie last night she apparently had a rough day because of her diaper rash so she took a nap when we got home. The rest of the night she spent naked airing out her little bottom and she felt soooooo much better this morning. 

We took her cute little St. Patrick's Day photos and all she wanted to do was eat that sticker. After work I'm making Irish Beef Stew with Guinness and St. Patrick's Day martinis which are kind of like desserts since it has creme de menthe, creme de cacao and Irish whiskey in it. I could probably add some chocolate syrup too.

I also got DH and Callie little gifts to surprise them with when they get home. 

Oh and YESTERDAY! Callie crawled!!!! The nanny said she wanted her book so bad but it was across the room and she went and got it. I can't believe I missed it....I'm so sad but she will do it again hopefully when I'm with her. I now have a mobile child.

I completely forgot to even try to wear green today. I only own one green sweater, so I'm not too upset that I forgot. 

Today I have an HSG. It's a procedure where they shoot dye into your uterus and take real-time scans of it. It's neat to see, but holy crap was it painful last time. I didn't realize I could take ibuprofen beforehand the first time, so I definitely brought that along with me today. The docs office is an hour away, so I hope no one minds that I just peace out on work for three hours this morning. HA.

Hey everyone!

I left work a little early yesterday.  I just felt like POOP.  I ate some cereal and then slept until H got home from work.  Ate a PBJ and sat on the couch watching Netflix until 9:30, ate another PBJ and then went to bed.  Boring.

I couldn't get my ring on this morning.  I am really sad about it.

Cricket was snuggling my bump last night!!  Such a sweet girl.

Not this year.  Normally I'd make something Irish-inspired (shepherd's pie, Irish Stout beef stew and soda bread, and I want to try cabbage and corned beef).  Next year!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Not a whole lot going on over here today, this week has been really boring. I weighed in down this morning and I'm up to 11 pounds lost! I went to ilostwhat.com and it said I lost the same as an average house cat lol. BF is down too, it's been 2 weeks for him on the restricted food, and about a month with no beer during the week and he is down 14. I hate that guys loose so much quicker!

No None of my work clothes are green. I have a t-shirt for later tonight that says "I *shamrock* Boston" on the front and on that back it says "Kiss me I'm a red sox fan."

I love green beer. So funny it came up on my "on this day" this morning, way back when I first joined there was a girl on here who flipped out on all of us about green beer. She de-friended me on FB because I posted a picture of a green beer when I went out that night. So crazy! Do any of you remember her??

Hey ladies!! Sorry I was MIA yesterday. My company had visitors from Taiwan and I had to go with my boss to pick them up from their hotel, give them a tour of our office, take them out to lunch, etc. - it was a bit awkward because they didn't speak much English, but hey - it sure beat working all day!!

Idk where my head was at this morning, but I put all my makeup on.... except for mascara. Which is pretty much the worst thing to forget. Boo. Anyways, I'm seriously seriously hoping that today goes by super quickly because I get to WFH tomorrow in order to go to a doctor's appt. in the middle of the day where I will FINALLY get to see the little alien in my belly after 7 long weeks since our last ultrasound. Please send all the vibes that the little "Bloob" as we call it is 100% healthy.

My landlords are Irish, my neighbors are Irish. There are 10 Irish pubs within a 4 block radius. When there is a soccer, uh... "futbol?" game on and a goal is scored, we hear cheers or groans from all the surrounding houses/buildings. Also, I'm a sucker for Irish accents... So yes, I would LOVE to go to Ireland someday!

@CocoBellaF - Look at that bump! I'm still oil cleansing but for some reason all of a sudden over the last month or so, my skin and my hair/scalp have become really dry. It hasn't been very cold here so I don't think it's that and I haven't changed anything in my routine so I'm wondering if my skin has just changed. So I ordered a moisturizer to help with that and H uses the cleanser I used to use so I got that for him. 

@caseface5 - Yea girl! You're killing it! I've never heard of that site, how cool! Booj weighs 11 lbs hahaha It says I've lost 30 sticks of butter!

We'll be having corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, Irish Soda Bread, and Guinness for dinner.  I'm also making Irish Car Bomb cupcakes for my office potluck, so I'll set a few aside for us to have for dessert.

Also, may be going to the parade on Sunday (depends on if my bf has to work or not).

It's just beer with food coloring.  The only issue is you have a green tongue and you pee green haha

@swazzle I'm always the same way- like can't be late, can't be late. And of course nobody here even notices, I could show up 2 hours late and people wouldn't even know. Have fun at the game, that's how I feel about Bruins- it's just such a long season that I don't care anymore.

I am sooooo tired despite sleeping 9.5 hours every night. I fear I will be tired for the rest of my life since it's not going to improve after giving birth....H says at least at that point I'll be able to have caffeine to help!

One year he ghosted from the bar and I had to pay his $120 tab....another year he fist fought his younger brother...another year he fist fought his roommate....Not that his heritage was to blame for him being a douche.

Happy Paddy's Day all!! I have been seriously MIA, but nothing major has been going on. H is from Ireland so today is practically a religious holiday for us. Unfortunately, we both have to work (even though it's a holiday for the city of Boston...not fair!!).

Are you Irish? No, but H is from Ireland so I think that counts. He would also kill me if I didn't correct everyone that says St Patty's Day instead of St Paddy's Day.

Are you wearing green today? Yes, a green t-shirt with a green tank underneath. I wish I had worn one of H's Gaelic jerseys though.

I was home yesterday. Idk what's going on, but my left shoulder has been sore - like giant knots in the muscle kind of sore! - and I barely slept. Stretching doesn't work and ended up getting some A5-35 last night.
After sleeping most of the morning yesterday, I ended up going to the mall. Got some goodies. Two bras on sale at aerie and a skirt and nude heels at H&M.
I got some money off for later at H&M so I may pick up some other tops later.

Tonight is just groceries. Joy.

Side note: the skype interview went well for Matt. His resume is being forwarded to the company. The recruiter has requested that he ask for lower than what they typically offer just because that's a huge leap from what he currently makes, plus there's RRSP {401K} contributions and profit sharing.
And now we wait.

@jenjen047 haha funny you say that about corned beef.  After my bf got back from Ireland he said something about corned beef and cabbage being an American-Irish tradition.  The same as St. Patrick's day being a booze fest in the US.  And I'm so guilty of Patty.

I fucking LOVE it. I actually grew up eating ham and cabbage because my grandparents (and their parents) were poor and ham is significantly cheaper than corned beef. I didn't have corned beef until I met H and I can't get enough of it.

Hello! Last night H and I started cleaning for our game night this weekend. We also moved our china cabinet so I could finally hang up the painting he got me for my birthday 3 months ago. Unfortunately, we didn't have the right picture-hanging hooks so the painting won't be hung until tonight, but I'm definitely AW-ing it once it's hung up. It's by Leonid Afremov, whose paintings have such beautiful colors and vibrancy. I'm obsessed with it. Tonight we'll do a little more cleaning and I'm also going shopping with my mom after work for my cousin's finance's wedding shower. Their registry is pretty pricey so hopefully I can find something within my budget.

I'm late today....I overslept since it was one of H's days off today.  Raj was barking last night and it kept waking me up but I was too much of a beached whale in bed with my full sized pillow to get up...seriously getting up sometimes requires assistance at this point (sorry bed buddy in Chicago).
