Ok, as promised, here are some Ireland photos from my trip last year! This is photo heavy, it was hard to narrow down to just a few highlights. 

I went for two weeks right after my grad school graduation. Dublin, Cork, Galway, and back to Dublin.

Temple Bar, which I didn't go into because it was backed. I picked quieter pubs for dinner/drinking. 


I took a train from Dublin to Cork for the next part of my trip. Shopping area in Cork. I loved all the storefronts everywhere I went. 


I took a train down to Cobh one day because I really wanted to see this church. I actually teared up, it was amazing. Pictures don't do it justice. The church is massive and it's on a hill, it towers over all the homes and shops.

When back in Cork I went to a pub where the bartender challenged me to pour a pint of Guinness. He rated it a 9/10. He said no one pours a 10. hahahaha!


I took a bus from Cork to Galway, I would look out the window and see crazy awesome views.

I walked from the downtown area to Salthill (along the Salthill Promenade) to check out the beach, weather was awesome that day. 




One of the Galway days I took a bus tour to see various sights, including the Burren (cool landscape) and the Cliffs of Moher. It was SUPER foggy, windy, and wet that day. I sort of saw the cliffs though!



Behind me is the cool landscape of the Burren area, and the Atlantic Ocean is somewhere back there.
 
This is another photo from the tour I did, we drove past this building and the cool signs. 


After Galway I took a train back to Dublin for the end of my trip. I stayed on a different part of town so I got to see this awesome bridge every day. 



And that's enough photos for one day. Hah!

@wink0erin OMG. What a beautiful place! I am so determined to find my way there one day. A grand tour of the UK has been at the top of my bucket list since I was a kid. 

@jenjen047 He was born here, but his parents and grandparents are from Ireland. Most of his family still lives near Dublin, and he usually goes to visit twice a year. He's talked about moving there permanently, but he just bought a house here, sooooo guess not.

I'd recommend everyone go there! It was awesome. I stayed in AirBNBs the whole time I was there which saved me a fortune on lodging. Public transportation was great so I relied on that and walking the whole time. I want to go back so badly. 

The food and beer were amazing. And I ate ALL the Cadbury chocolate and real sugar sodas. There was an orange soda I loved called Club that had bits of pulp in it, and I fell in love with elderflower soda while there too.

@eilis1228 - Got it. Yeah I really want to get my citizenship so it's easier for us to travel together to Ireland, but also because becoming a citizen of an EU country grants you access to the entire EU.

@MissKittyDanger - I have both wrists, the top of my left foot, the inside of my right ankle, and 8 paw prints that start in the middle of my right foot and go to above my ankle. I have one on my back too but that's not visible.

Did anyone hear about the college student who tried to play a prank in North Korea?  Yes, the punishment is insane, but he should have known he was not in the US anymore.

@jenjen047 UGH, jealous!!!! It was so good! I brought back a couple bottles of it along with 900 chocolate bars. haha

My favorite beer over there was O'hara's Irish Red. They have some imports to the US but of course nowhere near where I am.

H is so mean. We've been chatting about traveling and how much we want to go to Ireland, and he sent me a link to a bunch of last-minute cruise discounts and pointed out there was a 12-day British Isles cruise on the list. I was like, "DOES THIS MEAN WE CAN GO?" and he said, "No, just showing you this website exists. We can use it in the future."

Thank you @minskat30 I am on day 6 of stims for this cycle, so far it's going better than the last.  I have 14 follicles so far. Retrieval should be sometime next week.
