  • I'm sorry to hear he's not happy with his new facility.  How's the quality of the therapy?

    My mom was hit by a car and broke her ankle.  Well, she's blind and Deaf so she had to stay in the hospital/nursing home for 3 months until she could stand on it because they wouldn't release her for safety reasons until she can put weight on her foot.  The first place was so horrible we had the ambulance bring her back to the hospital until the insurance company found a more suitable facility.  Perhaps, you can even ask the insurance company for a case manager to help facilitate the process.  At least that way you have a professional spokesperson who can see to the level of care he's receiving and because they work for the insurance company, facilities often are very receptive to them.
