I did laundry late last night, and all my delicates are still drying, so my options were VERY limited this morning. Black slacks, light pink lacy top with a black cami showing underneath, and a maroon cardi. I'm wearing black ballet flats because they were the first pair of shoes I saw on my way out lol.

  • Tuesday, 4/19

Breakfast: Hard-boiled egg (2), toast with butter and jam (3), coffee with SF hazelnut (1)

Lunch: Flatout wrap (2) with turkey (2) and LC light swiss (1), and veggies; Goldfish (4)

Dinner: SLOPPY JOES! on a potato roll (12 -- Going to do them open face so more meat, less bread!)

    Exercise: Walk with the pup

    Tuesday's Question:

What's something you do every week that helps you stay on track?

I stay on track best when I meal plan. I've been trying to plan and come up with a shopping list on Friday and then I'll go shopping Saturday and take a little time to prep breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for work on Sunday. By doing this, I'm less likely to spend money on unhealthy food when I'm at work and less like to order in/get lazy during the week for dinners since I already have all the stuff I need for the recipes I've planned.

  • @southernpeach89 - Send me some of your soup! Tomato is my favorite <3

  • Tuesday, 4/19

Breakfast: 1) Sprout's brand Aussie cookie (didn't stay down, so doesn't count?)  2) Piece of egg/potato/green pepper Spanish pie (inspiration recipe, I changed it quite a bit though), iced coffee, maybe a nectarine.

Lunch: Leftover grilled steak, smashed yukon potatoes, salad with lemon EVOO + aged white balsamic vinegar and cantaloupe.

Dinner: Lemon chicken (RECIPE), Israeli couscous with lime and cilantro, chopped cucumber with lime and cilantro, watermelon.

Snacks: OPTIONS: vanilla yogurt and blackberries/raspberries, banana + PB, shakeo

    Exercise: ?

    Tuesday's Question:

What's something you do every week that helps you stay on track?

Meal planning and cleaning out the fridge.  If you can't see it in the fridge, then you don't know it's there and you don't eat it.  So I try to clean out the fridge before we go grocery shopping each week, and then we can see all the healthy options that we purchased.
  • @Swazzle It is SOOO good! Here is the recipe:
    http://www.365daysofcrockpot.com/day-56-slow-cooker-crock-pot-tomato/

I make mine in a pot on the stove instead of the crockpot but I'm sure it's amazing either way.
  • Tuesday, 4/19

Breakfast: Flax seed oatmeal with apples and cinnamon.  Coffee. Strawberries and blackberries

Lunch: Leftover egg noodle pasta with pork and eggplant

    Dinner: Sausage, onions, and peppers

Snacks: Banana, orange, maybe cookies or chips cause there's meeting today

Exercise: Walk Calla, possibly help paint front porch, yoga or something from TIU

    Tuesday's Question:

What's something you do every week that helps you stay on track?
Honestly, logging in here.  I feel once I say I'm eating something I can't eat anything else.  It's stopping me from snacking a lot.  My best friend and I also text or call each other everyday to see what we did for exercise.  Knowing I have someone checking in on me gives me that extra push when I really just want to be lazy.

  • @LizzyTish88 - I tried that popcorn and loved it! Next time, though, I have to portion it out ahead of time because I could not stop myself from eating half the bag.

  • @swazzle I can see how that would happen! Good thing is, the bag is huge, so I just keep a measuring cup in there.
