  • I don't get wiping your hands on your clothes because you don't want to use someone's guest towel. That towel is probably cleaner than the seat of your pants anyway. You're just exposing yourself to just as many germs that was as any other.
  • I'd never thought of providing disposable towels for guests but I think it makes a lot of sense! I know I have several friends with germ/cleanliness-related anxieties and probably more who haven't shared their anxieties with me.

    Sort of a two-way street -- people can cope with anxiety issues without being rude about it, but it's important not to dismiss "weird" coping mechanisms simply as rude behaviour.
