Good morning! Happy Hump Day! 

Tonight, H and I are either going out for or ordering in pizza because few things in life make me happier than pizza with my husband. I also want wine, please and thank you. 

Today is my 3rd anniversary so I'm going to be an AW but not a total AW because, god, I originally wanted to add like 27 pictures but I settled on just 5. For now.

@Swazzle Happy Anniversary! I love all your wedding photos! They are so beautiful and really capture you and your H's happiness on that day!

I really did not get much done yesterday lol. I had a meeting come up right after lunch so my plans to go get my car cleaned really couldn't happen in that time period. I'll probably end up getting that done sometime later this week.

Today I have to go to the post office to mail a wedding gift to my friend that got married last weekend lol. I definitely forgot to bring it with us when we went to their wedding. Last night Bible Study went fantastic!!!! We had such a great time and look forward to going again next week. Callie did not like their babysitter but to be fair she was very tired so I just held her with me and she was fine. 

A couple friends of ours are eloping today in St. Croix. DH is technically their best man but they won't be having a reception until June.... So I'm sure they will have some gorgeous pictures but I really wish we could have witnessed their ceremony but they specifically did not invite anyone...not even family. Oh well.

O.M.G. I have the best H ever. So last night he got a package in the mail from Amazon and I asked him if it was one of his school books and he looked at me and smiled and said it's an early Mother's Day gift and to give a little back story I was obsessed with Mary Kate and Ashley when I was little and I always loved to watch their movies and basically have all of them on VHS. So I opened the package and it's It Takes Two on DVD. I got so excited and immediately watched it before bed time lol.

Not much happening tonight, I plan to work out and make dinner and then hopefully sleep a full night lol.

Hey everyone! I've been totally MIA since last week... I was off on Friday and we went to visit my inlaws in NJ. I ran 10 miles on Friday morning and then my MIL and I went to get mani pedis... felt sooo good, especially because it was 1:00 on a Friday and I should have been at work . We had dinner with everyone that night and then I went to bed early. I got up Sat. morning and took the train to the city to meet up with my best friend. We took the train up to our college for our annual Alumni Rugby game! It was so much fun - I didn't play because of the upcoming half marathon (didn't want to break anything) but I hung out in the sunshine on the sidelines and drank. I did find out that I'm old and I can't hang anymore. We went to the drink up (after party) later but I wanted to go to bed at like 8pm.

Sunday was super lazy - H and I drove home and then I took a nap and did some stuff to get ready for the week. Mostly napped. Then for the last two days I've been in all day meetings at work - ugh.

Phew! Today should be a pretty good day. I did get to leave my meeting briefly yesterday to attend a meeting with my manager. Long story short, we've been working on a big policy at work that will benefit A LOT of people, and we got it passed in our meeting yesterday! I'm so excited to announce it to the company because I think people are going to be really happy about it. It feels good to accomplish something at work.

Tonight I have an easy two miles and then I'm going to do some laundry. 3 days until race day!

Last night was another bore. I read more MBY and hung out until BF got home. We caught up on Bar Rescue, ate tacos and went to bed pretty early. He was so pissed because he still can't figure out how to watch the GOT that he downloaded. He said he might just hook up Xbox so that might happen tonight.

So I have two wedding showers coming up, one for our neighbors that we hang out with, and one for my best friend. I was thinking about making this to add to their gifts

What does NEY think? My cousin has a machine that can make it and I will add it in with other items from their registry. I thought it was really cute and want to try to get a little crafty.

I just had a doc appointment for baby (routine) so I'm on mobile right now. Have to do a little work from home but I'll be taking the afternoon off. Just had to give a shout out, got my awesome surprise last night! Set of adorable greeting cards, and gourmet chocolate bark! I had to fast for my test today so I haven't tried it yet but I can't wait to today! Thank you so much @cu97tiger !

@pambeesly524 - Nice job on the run. My training went out the window with my back injury and sickness, so I'm just hoping to do the first 8-10 miles of the race this weekend, then I'll head back to my house to get mimosas and breakfast casserole ready for everyone!

AFM: I'm working from home this morning. I went to crossfit (just did half the workout) and now I'm waiting for the oil guy to get here. It's our annual furnace check up (yes, at the end of the winter... weird). Our dog walker is bringing over one of her subs at 9:30 for me to meet, I have a conference call at 10:30, and I need to shower before I go to work. Crazy morning.

I also decided not to go down to the clinic in Northern Virginia for my appointments anymore. The thought of all that driving and time away from work was stressing me out. So I'm going to go to my old clinic. It might be a little awkward, but whatevs. It is SO convenient. I think they open at 9 so I'm calling to make all my appts then (this Friday, then MWF for the next two weeks).

Happy Hump Day everyone!

I have a normal day at work today.  My goal is to ice my back 3x before I leave for my next chiro appointment.  It's my last one until Monday, so I want it to count.  The house-cleaner is coming today, so YAY!!!  I upgraded the normal clean to include a deep clean on the bathrooms, so that is especially exciting.

No major plans tonight, just taking it easy and icing my back.  Yesterday I cooked (just some potatoes and carrots to go with the crock pot roast) and worked on laundry and picking up the house a bit.  I took a looooong bath with eucalyptus and spearmint epsom salt and then laid around.  It was nice.  Tonight might be more of the same.

My life is the most exciting ever, let me tell you! Last night H worked on patching drywall holes in the bathroom. It wasn't really a job I could help with so I kind of just hung out and spent some time reorganizing the linen closet. He has to put another coat of drywall mud on the patches tonight so rather than be a bum all night I'm planning to try to get some yardwork done so I have less to do next week before our guests arrive.

@southernpeach89 omg I would have watched it before I went to bed too! My sisters and I used to act out every single Mary Kate and Ashley video.  I even chopped off all my hair when they went chin length so I could look like them.

Not much going on here.  Scheduled a hair appointment tomorrow.  I need to get the rest of the gift for my grandma so I can mail it out for Mother's day.

@labro I think I'm ready! My 10 mile run went really well on Friday. The weather is looking a little iffy but I hope it just stays overcast. I'm trying to drink lots of water (no alcohol this week ) and stretch every night. I'm on track to blow my last half time out of the water so I'm excited!

@CocoBellaF that bath sounds amazing... I might need to do the same this weekend!

@Swazzle I just remembered - I tried out my everything bagel spice last night! I made salmon, but not the full recipe you posted (I don't like mustard). I just drizzled some olive oil on and spiced it and baked it... It was GOOD.

Today I have to take Coraline to a different store than I work in because they have self-wash for a bath because she no longer fits in my shower. I am excited because I don't have to kill my back AND they have a high-speed dryer so the drying process will be wayyyyy faster for her and I can give her straight hair like a truly perfect poodle! I actually was supposed to just go drop off a spare key for my store but it's all the way in Queens and driving there is a pain so Coraline is coming with me!

After that, I'm making myself at home at the library, because my classes this term are SUPER scary and hard and I can't focus at home. I will also be mailing my secret surprise today or tomorrow!

Good morning! Last night H and I had planned on going to the gym, but decided to go for a walk in the park instead. It was so nice out yesterday! He made us egg sandwiches for dinner last night and we just watched tv (like we do every night). I've found that lately I've been more tired in the evenings (like ready for bed at 10pm instead of our usual 11-11:30pm) and more awake/alert in the mornings. I've even been waking up BEFORE my alarm clock which is crazy. Maybe it has something to do with being more active and/or cutting out coffee? I dunno, but I'm feeling much better so I'll take it. Tonight is gym night and hopefully something yummy for dinner. We have stuff to make bunless-burgers with mashed carrots or chicken on the grill with corn and asparagus. Hoping this day goes by quick!

@swazzle - Happy anniversary! You should have ALL the pizza and wine tonight. No ragrets.

@speakeasy14 principles of international business and "work, life, and career development." They both have a heavy workload, particularly the international business class, and my semesters are smushed into 8 weeks so I am doing two weeks worth of work per class in a one week span.
