Morning! 

Wednesday is off to a rough start at work so hopefully it can only get better from here. 

Last night.... I went home and ate foods and drank wine and went to bed. WOO! 

Tonight, H and I are going to dinner with my family because my cousin moves to Hawaii tomorrow! I'm going to miss her but I'll see her in Waikiki Beach in 11 weeks (but who's counting?)! 

That's all I got for today.

Not too much going on here. Trying to clean up my work that I have let get out of control for the last week. The school year is winding down and before long my half day Friday's will start and I will be in my down time! 

Last night we grilled. One of our shows is back, America's Got Talent, so we watched that too. Tonight I think I will hit the gym. We are having pulled chicken tonight, so I have to run home at lunch and throw it all in the crock pot. I'm so excited thinking about dinner already! 

Other than that.. not too much going on. Happy Wednesday!

@lizzytish88 My parents like to watch America's Got Talent, I've never really watched it myself though. Is that the one with Simon Cowell as a judge?

Yesterday I finally got some laundry done, it was starting to pile. After work I went to CrossFit hoping that working out would help loosen up some of my sore muscles but I still feel super sore today. I need to take a lavender bath or something.

So we went to small group last night and everyone in our group has young children...all probably under the age of 2 and so we all chip in for a babysitter while we have our discussions. So when we get there, I put Callie down on the carpet with the other kids and she crawls over to a book laying on the floor and immediately starts ripping out the pages  Now the pages had already been kind of torn up but they were still intact and Callie finished off the job. Luckily she only did it to that one book. I was apologizing to the Mom who owned the books but she was like, "I have a toddler, this is nothing new" lol.

Tonight DH has to work but he is off of teaching for the Summer and today he went into the school clean up his room and took Maddux with him because it's "bring your dog to work day" at his school so Maddux will get to play with all his fellow puppy dogs. I want DH to take pictures!

Last night I took my brother and his gf to a local brewery for beer and pretzels, then dropped them at the airport. By the time I got home I was exhausted - I think the crazyness of the last week off with family finally hit me. I was in bed by 8:30 and asleep by 9.

I left my glasses in the car this morning so that kind of sucks. Thinking I might take a walk at lunch to go get them since it's so nice out. H has a conference to attend at his school all week so he'll be home late most days. I plan on running 4.5 tonight (signed up for a half in 5 weeks!) and then hopefully getting some laundry done.

I was apparently not thinking this morning when I packed my lunch so I have no sauce for my salmon burger and no butter for my corn on the cob. Boo. We have birthing class tonight and for the love of God, I hope she installed the A/C. It's at the instructor's house and for the last 3 weeks we have all been sitting in her living room DYING of heat and dripping sweat. She mentioned last time that she would put it in this week, I really hope she did.

@southernpeach89 Yes, Simon is judging this season. He was pretty tame last night, until they did a segment where he was a total dick. Seems not much has changed. How cool that your H gets to bring Maddux to work? Sounds awesome!

@PamBeesly524 I think you meant to tag me LOL. I hope you're able to get back into a routine. Sounds like you had fun with your guests though so that's good.

@TwoDimes That sounds horrible! I have had to do projects like that before, so I feel your pain. Hope you are able to push through quickly!

@southernpeach89 - I think bring-your-dog-to-work day should be a thing EVERYWHERE. One of my co-workers and I are always talking about how great it would be to have an "office puppy".

Morning ladies. I am SO jealous of your Hawaii trip, @swazzle!

Last night I drove into DC to have dinner with one of my clients. It was a good opportunity to 'mention' that I'm open to new opportunities outside of my current company.

H and I have been having more and more conversations lately about what our future looks like. We'd both really like to be back in AZ (Phoenix or Tucson) and H is becoming more open to me finding a job, and him being the trailing spouse. It's not imminent, but will give me some motivation to look at job boards.

Tonight I have to pack for this weekend's wedding. I leave straight from work tomorrow. I threw some pork tenderloin in the crockpot with liquid smoke and it smelled SO GOOD before I left the house!

Oh, I also need to stop at Target to get a Father's Day card, my nephew's birthday gift, his card, and an anniversary card for my sister and BIL. There is a LOT that happens in our family in June. Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, too! WHEW.

Morning!  Today is a mixed bag.  Yesterday was just terrible at work...a deal really imploded and is teetering right now to the point of melt-down.  I was at the office for 14 hours then had several hours of emails after.  I have to deal with it today for a variety of reasons but H and I decided that this stress isn't worth it.  I think Friday will be my last day...at the very least it will be the last day I actually go in to the office.  I made it to 39 weeks and 2 days at that point and I think that is the best I can do given the insanity.  

So today should be more crazy at work but we also have an appointment with the doctor.  39 weeks today so I'm hopeful for good developments/news.  I'll let you guys know how it goes.

@minskat30 I'm using the same 12 week plan I used for my last half, just starting in the middle. Luckily I'm still semi in running shape since that race was only a month ago. I'm so sorry about your day yesterday - 14 hours of work should be illegal. I'm so glad to hear that Friday will be your last day in the office! You deserve to have some down time before Ani comes.

My morning started off rough, but coming in to my new "pet confessions" June photos really helped a lot. This one was my particular favorite. It definitely reminds me of Maddux as a puppy (minus the poop eating part, but he definitely was guilty of the rest!).


Today is all work, work, and more work. Hopefully this coffee kicks in soon because I feel super cranky.

Not much last night. Idk what I did, but yesterday about mid-way on my back a bunch of muscles were super stiff. I kept trying to stretch through the day but nothing worked, and even at home I tried. Luckily it's cooler out, so I took a bath to calm them and then Matt used A535. No pain this morning, but idk how people with constant back issues deal! Matt kept laughing because I would sit down like a pregnant lady and when sitting on the floor, he ended up having to help me lol

Tonight we have a bank appt, and I think it's to sign stuff for mortgage. Since I picked up bubble wrap recently, I'm going to pack some of the breakables since we don't need them.

Uhm .... that's about it. I'll probably AW some house photos soon, it'll be the realtor photos {except front because of the numbers}

Yesterday was SUCH a Monday! Geez. After a crazy day at work, it took me an hour to get home (should have taken 20 minutes) thanks to a deluge of rain and wrecks. I don't even take the highway to get to work, by the way. I usually avoid all the crazy traffic by taking backroads, but it seems the rain brought all the crazy drivers to me!

So, I get home, change into my workout clothes, and start walking to the gym. It's raining so hard I can barely see in front of me, and half of the sidewalk is flooded. That'll get your adrenaline going! The gym was empty, so I had a nice, chill workout. By the time I finished, the rain had calmed down significantly, so the walk home was much nicer.

I tried to make dinner (baked tilapia marinated in lemon pepper sauce), but for whatever reason it did not turn out. The fish just would not cooperate. Total fail. So, we decide to cut our losses and order Chinese. An hour goes by, still no food, so we call. For whatever reason our order was never made (the manager had to search for it with us on the phone). They apologize, rush it, and the manager delivers it himself, but by this point it's 9:45pm, and we are starving. I pretty much inhaled dinner.

Here's to hoping today goes much smoother than yesterday!

@PamBeesly524 – Considering we seem to have the same taste in comedy, have you heard Daniel Tosh’s bit about half marathons? It’s mean, of course, but it’s funny because I just heard it last night for the first time. He equates it to only doing half of other impressive things. “I just finished reading half a book. Big thick one. Read it to the middle, set it down, never read it again.”

@TwoDimes – I get tasks like that every once in a while, because we have to submit stupid paperwork to show we’re in compliance with the rules. They’re the worst! I hope you don’t absolutely die of boredom and have some good music to groove to.

@minskat30 – I hope your appointment today goes well and shows some further signs of progress! I think you’re making a good decision to cut yourself off from the office!

@labro – So whenever your dog annoys you, just remember it could be worse, haha. It could be my dog, that actually eats his own shit and then tries to kiss me. *shivers just thinking about it*

@MissKittyDanger – I totally agree that back pain is the absolute worst! Getting in and out of cars is my least favorite action, for sure.

@eilis1228 – Waiting for food is the worst! I can’t believe they forgot you!!

Last night we watched Daniel Tosh's newest special, and then hung out and watched some old clips of him. I think I'm a terrible person for laughing. Eh, I know I'm a terrible person, haha.

Not too much going on here yet today, but it should be fun overall. I'm having lunch with two old work mates from my student program days at my all time favorite Thai restaurant. Then I'm going out to happy hour in Portland with another old work friend, so that I have a place to wait out the traffic. Should be a good time!

Not much going on. Church tonight. I'm going to finish the baby blanket or bust. A coworker of mine is having surgery next week, so I'm going to pick up a get-well card for her. Otherwise I'm continuing to wait for my student evals and praying someone remembers I can review writing because I need something to do. Maybe I'll work on my class more.

I'm TIRED. I have another promotion going on at work this week, so I'm driving all over creation doing radio drops, and I had to leave my house by 7am this morning. I'm on my second iced coffee of the day. #noregrets

@southernpeach89 - There's no way Callie is destructive. I've met her, she's a perfect angel.

@GoldenPenguin they only deliver in Boston on FRIDAYS. Which is literally like the worst day of the week for us to get fresh food delivered. The customer service lady I spoke to said they are expanding quickly so I'm keeping my eye on it. I really want to try it soon!

I'm just laughing at this at this point.  Sorry for all the baby talk from me but no engagement, no dilation, "unfavorable" cervix is my diagnosis.  Oh and my doctor told me she is off the week of the 13th too so can't deliver her that week.  Ani is going to come on the 15th when I'm 41 weeks, my doctor is gone and H is at his citizenship test.  I figure if I say that out loud it hopefully won't happen.    

I'm scheduled for an induction at 41 weeks and 5 days if it doesn't happen before then...at least the doc is letting me wait until then to see if little Miss makes her way into the world on her own.  I don't want an induction with a completely uncooperative cervix/baby positioning and neither does my doctor.  It will pretty much guarantee a c-section.
