Timber Point Mansion Country Club in Great River?

Does anyone have any recent reviews of Timber Point?  Their prices are fantastic, but the only reviews I can find are from years ago.

I have heard great things about the food and service. I did look there though and it looks old and run down. The room also does not have a great layout.

I am getting married there in 39 days eeek!!!  Everyone has been great to work with.  The layout can be weird but I am putting a photo booth in that corner.  We were going to make that a kiddy corner andhave a couch there but this worked out better.  They have accomidated every requests I had and added more!!! The prices and food were great!!!  Give it a try - my friends boss's daughter was married there and theri other doaughter is using them as well.

I'm getting married there in June!  Timber Point is beautiful and everyone has been so accomodating and wonderful to work with.  I was a little concerned about the room layout as well, but honestly, there is always going to be something that isn't perfect and you just have to work with it.  The prices and the service have been fantastic!

My retirement party was there last June.  The view in the back is very nice, as is the terrace.  The day of my party, the air conditioning failed and they were unable to do anything about it.  The food was fine, nothing creative, but good.  I'm sure a wedding would be different; but I wouldn't put Timber Point at the top of my list for a wedding.

Thanks everyone!  I have decided to go with someplace else, purely for location reasons.  Everything I've heard about Timber Point has been great, its just too far East for us.
