My sister is (thankfully) going to pull double duty for my wedding. She is going to not only be my Maid of Honor, but also she is going to perform the ceremony for us.
As of yet, the plan is to have our DJ (Who will be supplying our ceremony music) to make a short announcement. My sister will walk up as MOH, hand off her bouquet, and take her place as Officiant. She will preform the ceremony we are writing together, and then walk out as MOH. DJ will then make announcement for cocktail hour to begin.
Am I missing anything here? Does anyone see a hiccup that may happen with this arrangement??
Re: Sister, Maid of Honor, and Officiant
Write her as MOH in the program (if having one) and then intro her as MOH at the reception (if doing intros) and seat her next to you (if doing a head able).
