On the look for a DJ

So I booked my photographer so now we are shopping around for a DJ.  My FI wants to look at After Hours and Silverfox.  Does anyone have either opinioins or suggestions?

After Hours all the way...avoid any business with Silverfox if you can.

im using variety music. saw them at a bridal expo and really liked their style. i have ray (owner) as mc. he is great!

Yeah that's why we didn't go with silverfox for photography but was not sure how their dj was

I'm using After Hours but the weddings not until March so I really can't give an opinion

OMG...I booked with Silverfox for my DJ, not my photographer, I went with someone else....what's wrong with Silverfox??? Please?

I think everyone is hit or miss no matter who/what the business is.  I'm using Silverfox for my photographer and yes I've heard things too but two of my friends used them for their weddings.  I was a bridesmaid for one of those weddings and I have to say the Silverfox photographer was very nice and professional.  I heard good things from my other friend as well.  If you read reviews online not all reviews for silverfox are bad.

PS. I'm using Variety Music for my DJ and ceremony music.  They're great!
