Recommendations for seamstress who can transform vintage wedding gown?

Hello!

Does anyone have recommendations for a bridal shop or seamstress that can transform a 1930s wedding gown? West coast recommendations would be great but I am willing to travel anywhere within the US. I would prefer someone with experience dreaming and designing so they can help me envision the final dress after looking at my body type and the vintage gown.

    Do you have any schools in your area that have fashion design programs? A student or recent graduate might be willing to take on a project like that.

    Check out episodes of the show Something Borrowed, Something New and get the name of that designer. That was her specialty. I can't remember her name, only that she transformed some super hideous or very fragile dresses into very pretty, fresh looking styles.
