Feeling guilt of a wedding reception

@MesmrEwe, actually, people aren't smart. They mistakenly believe that the mask protects them and that they can choose for themselves whether to wear one. But the truth is that social, non-medical mask wearing protects the other person FROM you. So people who decide mask wearing is optional are essentially choosing not to protect the other people at the event.

@MesmrEwe perhaps your argument could be if the couple requires all guests to wear, say, blue masks to match their wedding color scheme, that's be similar to asking guests to dress a certain way.  Reminding guests they need a mask because it's a large public gathering (again, I personally wouldn't do that this year) isn't the couple overstepping, it's the couple being decent.

This is the single most ridiculous take I’ve ever seen on this website.
