BM Gifts

So I'm paying for their hair, got them the colorblock tote and makeup bag and am filling with things.  In the tote I put flip flops in silver since they are wearing silver shoes.  Then in the cosmetic bag I put a pack of tissues and a cute compact mirror.  Any other ideas??

LOL you should pay for their hair if you're asking them to get it done. That dosent count as part of their gift as its for your wedding.
put somethime memorable for them in each bag. i'm not one for lotions etc.. i'm picky about those and don't use the ones I get as gifts especially the scented ones. if you know which brand of perfume they like you can get them a bottle of that or if you know what kind of lip gloss they like get them one of those but I wouldn't put randomly selected things in there.
fwiw: i gave my girls a different heart necklace from tiffany because i wanted to give them something that they'll have for a while.

Just want to clarify- I didn't tell them they had to get it done, I first told them they could do whatever they wanted and they all asked me to set up hair appointments for them, so then I decided since they were going to be spending the money, I would pay for it for them.  So, it still counts as a gift.

Ceyring- thank you for those suggestions :)

Then you're right-it does count as a gift-not sure how memorable of one it will be though.................

actually, a few of the girls in my wedding party who were in other weddings said it was their favorite gift from the bride in previous weddings because they like to be pampered and it's not some piece of crap that they feel obligated to use.

I see your point-but then again-arent' the totes and trinkets things they'll feel obligated to use for the wedding too though?
I told my girls that the necklaces weren't for them to wear at the wedding because I didn't want to make my gift to them about me or the wedding-only about them. They already knew what they were wearing for the wedding as far as jewelry went-just their own stuff which was more than fine iwth me.
if you feel that they'd like hair and lotion and flip flops and a tote-go with it.

hi smatuza - i paid for half of their BM dress since it was a little pricey and they were happy with it:-) when you committ to being in a wedding - the $ really adds up! i wanted to help them out with that. plus, they are all traveling to LI so I wanted to keep their expenses kinda low...LOL! I'm also thinking at the Reh Din. to give each (4 of them) a card w/ $ to put towards their hair/make-up. You know your BM and what they like  - i know mine will be fine w/ me helping to pay a little!!!LOL
