Day is going okay. I’m getting my hair done tonight. I’m apparently a crazy person now and I brought some weights to do an arm workout during lunch since I won’t be home until almost 9 tonight. Otherwise SSDD. I’m a little tired of people throwing snark around at work when they’re not even doing their own jobs, but it is what it is. I also had a really frustrating thing happen yesterday at work which I’m still a little annoyed about. I’m glad I only had a four day work week.

H had his cataract surgery this afternoon. It went well and he is home. I will have to drive him to his follow up appointment tomorrow. Next week he will have the other eye done. He said it is really strange seeing so well out of that eye now!

I'm sure you already are but make sure he is following his post-opp instructions @ILoveBeachMusic ! I sat on the jury for a woman that lost her vision after cataract surgery and I felt really bad for her but she did not follow her going home instructions at all and claimed she didn't receive any. But the hospital made her sign a form that she did receive it which they showed in court and she said she was given a bag with an eye mask for sleeping which she NEVER wore because she said nobody told her she had to. Needless to say she did not win her malpractice suit.

hope he recovers well @ILoveBeachMusic both of my parents had cataract surgery a few years back and it was a great experience.

I’m not sure, but part of me wants to explain it better to him. Like, it’s not really a wedding board.  We’re basicallt a group of licensed therapists who give advise to strangers whom we don’t know, and they’ll probably never read.

The weather here has been cloudy with light rain all week. Waiting for it to clear up.

I miss being with my friends in person, but I'm on Zoom all the time for job interviews and online theater. Both can really take it out of you. Zzzzz.....

That is good news!  I'll stay hopeful the cruise industry can start recovering and the US doesn't permanently lose some of that business.  

However, I'm not sure CDC/US policies for cruises would matter for the cruise I am taking next April.  It departs out of Barcelona, Spain anyway.  My host for Norwegian said they are going to start sailing that route at the beginning of Sept. this year, though that could change depending on circumstances.
