Thanks y'all. The vet said the pup is extremely anemic which could be due to an infection or something like cancer (based on the blood work). We are doing a course of antibiotics and steroids right now. If he doesn't improve in the next few days we know our answer. The people at the vet were so concerned that both dogs would go in the same week. They make such a fuss over the pups you can tell they really care. 

@levioosa I hope you FI's parents don't have a bad case but good lord people! You have no idea how you got it - really!?

I was messaging with an old high school friend who is a school nurse in Texas. She said at one point the administration was going to require people to have a doctor's note in order to wear masks at school. However, that was shot down by some attorney's. She also has had to move back into her smaller clinic room where she has no way to isolate people. Last year they converted the teacher's lounge into a clinic where they could have isolation and a plastic shield for her. Now she's on her own. Also a student was in there(showing symptoms) but the  mother couldn't come get them because she needed to go to an hair appointment. Big eye-roll! My poor friend can't afford to quit her job but is genuinely concerned for her own well-being.

@MissKittyDanger I might try something on bathroom countertops soon. Really I just need a new vanity top in the master but I have 0 skill and dont want to pay for install either

I'm glad you're getting good at tuning out the BS @ei34 I hear good things about the PB backpacks but I dont think I could justify the cost, especially if it isn't something he would want to have every year

@kvruns that's kinda why I opted this. Our counters aren't bad - per say - but as you can see, colour is outdated and just blegh. I've hated all the yellow since we moved in.
When the instructions say a weekend job, they aren't exaggerating. 3 days I could do it all BUT we would lose counter use for awhile. If our microwave was elevated I would have done way more instead of this 3 part paint job.
Amazon does suggest also a cabinet paint, but we're likely replacing cabinet doors {they all suuuucckkkkk}

@ei34, I've heard nothing but good thing about PB backpacks too. I make him carry the same bag for at least 2 years.  His last bag was a Nike and it lasted three years.  It's still in good shape, but he wanted some tactical/military style bag.  That thing is so sturdy that it could take him through HS, LOL.

@mrsconn23 @kvruns omg they could take their backpacks to high school they’re in incredible condition.  I do think I’m going to go another year. A new backpack isn’t something  they expect each year, they hadn’t brought it up. Extra helpful that they’re still into the designs they’d picked (solar system, unicorns, and dinosaurs).
